Determiner হচ্ছে noun/pronoun এর নির্দিষ্টতা, অনির্দিষ্টতা, সংখ্যা বা পরিমাপ নির্দেশক।
অল্প কয়েকটি অর্থে countable noun এর পূর্বে a few বসে কিন্তু অল্প একটু বা সামান্য পরিমাণ অর্থে uncountable noun এর পূর্বে a little বসে। a few বা a little উভয়ের অর্থই হচ্ছে অল্প কয়েকটি বা অল্প পরিমাণ।
বাক্যটিতে milk uncountable noun তাই এর পূর্বে determiner হিসেবে a little বসবে।

Honesty অর্থ সততা। এটি মূলত ছিলো একটি Abstract noun। কারণ Abstract noun বলা হয় যাকে ধরা যায় না, ছোঁয়া যায় না এবং দেখা যায় না। কিন্তু প্রশ্নে honesty - common noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
রুলস: Abstract noun দিয়ে যদি কোন নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তির গুণ বোঝায় তাহলে তা common noun হিসেবে ধর্তব্য হয়। সুতরাং উপরের বাক্যে যেহেতু Honesty শব্দটাকে hasib এর গুণ রূপে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। তাই এটি common noun ।
