• Complete sentence: If they had the boat, they would cross the river.

• প্রশ্নটি মূলত Second conditional-এর উপর ভিত্তি করে করা হয়েছে। 
- একটি conditional sentence-এ দুটি অংশ থাকে। 
1. Condition বা শর্ত, 
2. Consequence বা ফলাফল। 

• Second Conditional-এর নিয়মানুযায়ী: 
- শর্তযুক্ত অংশে If + past indefinite যুক্ত clause থাকলে, পরবর্তী clause টিতে subject-এর পরে would/could/might + verb-এর base form বসে। 

• Structure: If + past indefinite + subject + would/could/might + verb -এর base form + extension.

খ) Proper noun: যে Noun দ্বারা নির্দিষ্ট একটি ব্যক্তি, বা বস্তুর নামকে বুঝায় তাকে proper noun বলে।

ঘ) Material Noun হলো এমন বিশেষ্য যা কোনো পদার্থ বা বস্তুর নাম বোঝায়, যা সাধারণত গণনা করা যায় না কিন্তু ওজন বা পরিমাপ করা যায়।

• Interjections
- Interjections are those words which express the sudden feelings of the human mind.
- যে word দ্বারা মনের আকস্মিক আবেগ, অনুভূতি ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করা যায় তাকে Interjection বলে।

• Wow:
- এটি একটি বহুল ব্যবহারকৃত একটি Interjection.
- এর দ্বারা মূলত Sentence এর বিস্ময়, উত্তেজনা, অবাক হওয়া ইত্যাদি বুঝানো হয়ে থাকে।
- Surprise অথবা Excitement বুঝাতে Wow ব্যবহার করা হয়।

- যে noun দ্বারা কোন নির্দিষ্ট জিনিস না বুঝিয়ে অনির্দিষ্ট ভাবে বোঝানো হয় তাকে Indefinite pronoun বলে।

গ) Reciprocal pronoun:
- এই pronoun একাধিক ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মধ্যে পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ক বুঝায়।
- পারস্পরিক সম্পর্কের ক্ষেত্রে each other এবং one another এই দুইটি pronoun ব্যবহার করা হয়, যারা reciprocal pronoun নামে পরিচিত।
- One another, Each other হচ্ছে Reciprocal pronoun.

• Distributive Pronoun:
- যে সকল pronoun একই জাতীয় একাধিক বস্তু বা ব্যক্তিকে পৃথকভাবে বুঝানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় সেগুলোকে Distributive Pronoun বলে।
- যেমন: each, either, neither ইত্যাদি।
- এই pronoun গুলোকে positive pronoun ও বলে।

- Bangla meaning: পুলিশ অফিসার একজন চোরকে সাইকেলে করে পালাতে দেখলেন।

• Hear, see, etc. + object + Bare infinitive or verb+ing:
- Hear, see, notice, watch ইত্যাদি verb গুলোর object এর পরে Bare infinitive এবং verb+ing উভয়ের ব্যবহার থাকলেও verb+ing -এর ব্যবহার বেশি প্রচলিত।

- The bare infinitive often emphasises the whole action or event which someone hears or sees.
- অর্থাৎ, পুরো কাজ বা ঘটনাটা দেখার কাজ শেষ হয়ে যাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে bare infinitive বসে।

- The -ing form usually emphasises an action or event which is in progress or not yet completed.
- কিন্তু, চলমান বা এখনও সম্পূর্ণ হয়নি এরকম কাজের ক্ষেত্রে verb+ing বসে।

অন্যদিকে,
খ) to escape:
- "see" এর পরে ongoing actions এর ক্ষেত্রে the infinitive ("to escape") ব্যবহার হয় না।

গ) escaped:
- এটি past tense, এবং "saw a thief escaped" is grammatically incorrect.

ঘ) escapes: 
- This is the present simple tense, which is used for habits or general truths, not for actions observed in progress.
- অর্থাৎ, "action that was in progress" এর ক্ষেত্রে এটি ব্যবহার হয় না।

Neither : not one or the other of two people or things

- Neither answer is correct. [ = both answers are wrong]
- “Which answer is correct?” “Neither one.”
- Neither sweater fits her.

Neither : not the one and not the other of two people or things

- Neither (of the two answers) is correct.

Till এবং until এর ব্যবহার প্রায় একই।
অর্থ - যতক্ষণ না পর্যন্ত;
কিন্তু until অধিক formal.
Till / until যুক্ত বাক্যের till / until এর পরের clause টি present indefinite হয়।
এখানে until বানান ভুল দেয়া আছে, তাই till হবে উত্তর।

• Intransitive verb:
- যেসকল verb -এর object বা কর্ম থাকে না তাকে Intransitive verb বলে।
- সাধারণত Intransitive verb -এর পর adverb অথবা preposition ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত Intransitive verb -কে - কি (what?) বা কাকে (whom?) দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে কোনো উত্তর পাওয়া যায় না। 

Option analysis:
ক) The baby cried loudly.
 → "Cried" is intransitive; সরাসরি object নেই; the verb expresses a complete action.

খ) She reads a novel every night.
→ "Reads" is transitive; কারণ এর object ("a novel") বিদ্যমান। 

গ) They painted the wall blue.
→ "Painted" is transitive; object টি wall.

ঘ) He bought a new phone yesterday.
→ "Bought" is transitive; এখানে object হচ্ছে a new phone.

So, the only intransitive verb is in option ক.

• Relative Pronoun:
- দুটি বাক্যকে (clause বা বাক্যাংশ) সংযোগ করতে Relative Pronoun (who, which, what, whose, whom, that, ইত্যাদি) ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Gap (শূন্যস্থান) -এর পরে noun/pronoun/verb থাকলে এবং এর পূর্বে (antecedent টি) things/animal (বস্তু) থাকলে Gap -এ which/that বসে।
- উল্লিখিত বাক্যে Gap এর পূর্বে things 'a dress' আছে , তাই নিয়মানুযায়ী Gap এ which/ that বসবে।

- সুতরাং, অপশন অনুযায়ী শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক Pronoun টি হবে- which.

- যেমন -

• Correct sentence: গ) It is high time you gave up smoking.

• It is time/It is high time এর পরে যদি subject থাকে তাহলে verb -এর past form হয়।
- যেমন:

Determiners: 
- Determiners are words placed before a noun in a noun phrase to modify or determine the noun.

ক- He was died last night. die- Intransitive Verb হওয়ায় এটা কখনো Passive হয় না।
খ- টাকা উপার্জন করে না, বরং টাকাকে উপার্জন করা হয়, তাই বাক্যটা Passive হতে হবে।
গ- vanished – Intransitive Verb হিসেবে Active Voice এ Past Indefinite Tense এ এর ব্যবহার সঠিক হয়েছে।
ঘ- Rome শহরটি মানুষের দ্বারা নির্মিত হয়েছে। তাই এটা Passive হওয়া বাঞ্ছনীয়।

সবগুলোর সঠিক বাক্য হবে নিম্নরূপ:
He died last night.
Money should be earned according to necessity.
The magician vanished from our sight.
