১। Assertive sentence (বিবৃতিমূলক)
- যে sentence দ্বারা কোনো তথ্য, মতামত বা ঘটনার বিবরণ দেওয়া হয় তাকে Assertive sentence বলে।
- Example: She goes to school every day.

২। Interrogative sentence (প্রশ্নবোধক)
- যে sentence দ্বারা কোনো প্রশ্ন করা হয় তাকে Interrogative sentence বলে।
- Example: Where are you going?

৩। Imperative sentence (অনুজ্ঞাবাচক)
- যে sentence দ্বারা আদেশ, উপদেশ, অনুরোধ বা নিষেধ করা হয় তাকে Imperative sentence বলে।
- Example: Please sit down, Close the door.

৪। Optative sentence (ইচ্ছা বা প্রার্থনামূলক)
- যে sentence দ্বারা প্রার্থনা, মঙ্গলকামনা বা শুভকামনা প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকে Optative sentence বলে।
- Example: May you live long.

৫। Exclamatory sentence (বিস্ময়সূচক)
- যে sentence দ্বারা বিস্ময়, দুঃখ বা আনন্দের তীব্র অনুভূতি প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকে Exclamatory sentence বলে।

- অর্থাৎ, অর্থ অনুসারে সঠিক উত্তর: শিক্ষার্থীদের শব্দে তিনি অনেক বিরক্ত হয়ে ছিলেন।

- Simple: Feeling hungry, he ate a sandwich.
- Compound: He was hungry, and he ate a sandwich.

• Simple Sentence থেকে Compound Sentence:
- যদি Simple sentence-এ Present Participle Phrase (Verb + ing) ব্যবহার করে কারণ (Reason) বোঝানো হয়, তাহলে Compound sentence-এ রূপান্তর করার সময়-
- Present Participle Phrase (Verb + ing)-কে Independent Clause-এ রূপান্তর করতে হবে।
- দুটি Independent Clause যুক্ত করতে and বা so ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

- অর্থাৎ যদি Simple Sentence-এ কোনো ব্যক্তির কাজ করার কারণ এবং তার ফলাফল উল্লেখ থাকে, তবে Compound Sentence-এ প্রথমে কারণ উল্লেখ করা হয় এবং তারপর ফলাফল-কে conjunction "and" দিয়ে যুক্ত করা হয়।

- সুতরাং, Transformation Rule অনুসারে সঠিক Compound Sentence টি হবে: He was hungry, and he ate a sandwich.

 More examples:
- Simple: Being late, she missed the bus.
- Compound: She was late, and she missed the bus.

অন্যদিকে,
ক) He was hungry so that he ate a sandwich.
- So that introduces a purpose clause, অর্থাৎ, এটি complex sentence গঠন করেছে, তাই ভুল।

খ) He was being hungry, and he ate a sandwich.
- "He was being hungry" grammatically ভুল।

ঘ) Because he was hungry so that he ate a sandwich.
- Double conjunctions (because + so that) make it grammatically wrong.

• Though/ Although Clause এ has/ have/ had থাকলে সে ক্ষেত্রে Complex Sentence কে Simple Sentence এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- Though/ Although এর পরিবর্তে Despite/ In Spite of বসে।
- Subject অনুসারে এর Possessive form বসে।
- has/ have/ had এর পরিবর্তে having বসে।
- প্রদত্ত Sentence এর বাকী অংশ বসবে।

• Complex Sentence: He completed the project successfully even though he had little experience in management.
• Simple Sentence: In spite of having little experience in management, he completed the project successfully.

• Active voice এ Modal Auxiliary Verb থাকলে তা Passive voice করার নিয়ম:
- Modal Auxiliary verb গুলো হলো: Can, Could, May, Might, Will, Would, Shall, Should, Ought to, Used to, Must ইত্যাদি।
- Active voice এর object টি passive voice এর subject হিসেবে বসে।
- Active voice এর Modal verb টি বসে।
- be বসে।
- প্রদত্ত মুল verb এর past participle বসে।
- by বসে।
- Active voice এর subject টি Passive voice এ object হিসেবে বসে।

• Active Voice: They ought to follow the school rules.
• Passive voice: The school rules ought to be followed by them.

• Let যুক্ত imperative sentence এর tag question করার নিয়ম:
- Let এরপর 's থাকেলে বুঝতে হবে যে 's দ্বারা us কে বুঝানো হয়েছে।
- Us এর পরিবর্তে We ব্যবহার করা হয়।
- Tag question এ shall we বসে।

Answer - ঘ) সে তোমাকে আক্রমণ করতে প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ।

"To be out for someone's blood" একটি idiom (প্রবাদ/বাগধারা) যার আক্ষরিক অর্থ নয়, বরং রূপক অর্থ আছে।

Out for blood:
English meaning: very angry and wanting to kill someone or to cause them pain or discomfort.
Bangla meaning: কাউকে শাস্তি দিতে বদ্ধপরিকর হওয়া/ কারো ক্ষতি করতে দৃঢ়প্রতিজ্ঞ হওয়া / প্রতিশোধ নিতে উদ্যত হওয়া/ কাউকে আক্রমণ/ধ্বংস করতে প্রস্তুত থাকা।

• Superlative degree-এর সঠিক নিয়ম অনুসারে:
- Superlative degree- এর পূর্বে Definite article “The” ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
- Superlative degree-এ (the+ finest, the best, the most beautiful, etc) সবসময় the বসে।
- আবার, সমগ্র জাতি বুঝাতে singular noun -এর পূর্বে the বসাতে হয়।
- তাই 'Elephant' -এর পূর্বে the বসবে।
- আবার, কোনো countable noun -এর পূর্বে 'all' বসলে এর পরে plural noun বসে।
- তাই, “of all” এর পরে animals (plural) বসবে।

Other options:

ক) Elephant is the largest of all animals.
- ভুল কারণ "Elephant" দ্বারা সমগ্র জাতি বোঝালেও তার পূর্বে article "The" ব্যবহার করা হয়নি।

গ) The elephant is largest of all animals.
- ভুল কারণ, (Superlative degree) "largest"  এর পূর্বে definite article "the" ব্যবহার করা হয়নি।

ঘ) The elephant is the largest of all animal.
- ভুল কারণ, নিয়ম অনুযায়ী "all" এর পরে plural noun বসবে। এখানে "all" এর পরে singular noun "animal" ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।

Active Voice: Do not open the window.  

• Do not দিয়ে শুরু যুক্ত Imperative Sentence কে Passive Voice করতে হলে:
- বাক্যের শুরুতে Let বসে। 
- Active Voice এ Do not থাকলে Passive Voice এ শুধু not বসে।
- Active Voice এর Object – Subject এর স্থানে বসে।
- be বসে।
- মূল Verb এর Past Participle বসে।

সুতরাং, নিয়ম অনুসারে, Passive voice: Let not the window be opened.

• If যুক্ত Complex sentence টি যদি Negative অর্থবোধক হয়, তবে Compound Sentence এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- If থেকে not পর্যন্ত উঠে যাবে।

- or বসে।
- বাকি Clause টি বসে।

• Complex Sentence: If you do not study hard, you will not succeed.
• Compound Sentence: Study hard or you will not succeed.

- তবে sentence টি যদি Affirmative Sentence হয় তাহলে or এর পরিবর্তে and বসে।
- বাকি সব উপরের rule এর মতোই ঠিক থাকবে।

• Complex Sentence: If you run fast, you can win the prize.
• Compound Sentence: Run fast and you can win the prize.

Explanation:
সাহায্যকারী Verb বিহীন Active voice কে Passive voice এ রূপান্তর। [V₃ = past participle]
Active: Subject (Agent - কাজ সম্পাদনকারী) + verb + Object.

- Let + not + object + ever + be + মূল verb এর past participle.
• Active Voice: Never catch the Jatka.

Never tell a lie - নিষেধ বোঝায়। এক্ষেত্রে সঠিক Passive form-

- প্রদত্ত Sentence এর শেষের Subject টি প্রথমে বসে।
- প্রদত্ত Verb বসে।
- Positive Degree এর Comparative Degree বসে।

- translation টি Tag question -এর উপর ভিত্তি করে দেওয়া হয়েছে।

• Tag question করার নিয়ম:
- Tag question ব্যবহার করা হয় উক্তিটি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টি negative এবং negative হলে positive হবে।
- Subject ও tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb দ্বারা tag question হয়।

• Confusing Contraction sentence এর tag question করার নিয়ম:
- যদি subject এরপর 'd থাকে অর্থাৎ, verb টি base form এ আসে, তাহলে এটিকে modal auxiliary হিসেবে would ধরতে হবে।
-Example: If I were a rich man, I'd establish a hospital, wouldn't I?

- তবে 'd এরপরের verb টি যদি past participle form এ থাকে তাহলে তাকে past perfect tense এর had হিসেবে ধরতে হবে।
-Example: I'd reached there in time, hadn't I?

Active Voice এ Auxiliary Verb হিসেবে ‘did’ থাকলে passive voice এ এর পরিবর্তে was/were বসে। ‍
এখানে Subject – singular হওয়ায় was বসবে।
তারপর Object – Subject হয়ে বসবে।
তারপর মূল Verb এর Past Participle.
এর পর by + Subject এর Objective Form.

সে অনুসারে সঠিক উত্তর - Was the work done by him without authority?

whose (যেটার, যার) এখানে বেশি মানানসই।
