- Some, any এই determiner গুলাে countable এবং uncountable উভয় ধরনের noun এর পূর্বে বসতে পারে।
- সুতরাং, শূন্যস্থানে advice ব্যবহৃত হবে৷

• উল্লিখিত বাকি অপশনগুলো,
- advised - ভুল: advised হলো advise (verb) এর Past form. বাক্যে noun প্রয়োজন, verb নয়।
- advise - ভুল: advise হলো verb, আর বাক্যেটিতে noun দরকার, verb নয়।
- advises - ভুল: advises হলো advise Verb, এর third person singular form verb. বাক্যে noun প্রয়োজন, কিন্তু এটি verb, তাই ব্যবহার উপযুক্ত নয়।

- Double comparative বা যত তত  বুঝাতে দুইটি Adverb এর প্রত্যেকটির পূর্বে the বসে।

- Double Comparative এর নিয়ম:
- সাধারণত comparative form এর পূর্বে The বসে না।
- তবে Double comparative বা বাংলা বাক্যে, যত তত বা আনুপাতিক হ্রাস-বৃদ্ধি বুঝাতে দুইটি adverb comparative এর প্রত্যেকটির পূর্বে the বসে।

• He dare not do it.
- এই বাক্যটি সঠিক। 
- সাধারণত Interrogative ও Negative বাক্যের মধ্যে এটি Modal Auxiliary হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- আর Assertive & Affirmative বাক্যে এটা সাধারণত Principal Verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

অন্যদিকে,
• He dares not do it.
- বাক্যটি সঠিক নয়
- কারণ negative statement or interrogative statement এ কখনো 'dares' ব্যবহার করা যায় না। 

• He dare not to do it.
- বাক্যটি ভুল।
- এখানে dare  not এর পর infinitive 'to do' এর ব্যবহার ভুল।
- dare এর সাথে infinitive to এর ব্যবহার উহ্য সাথে।

• He dares not to be done it.
- বাক্যটি ভুল।
- কারণ বাক্যটি grammatically ভুল।

সঠিক উত্তর হলো ক) I know where he lives.
যখন embedded question ব্যবহার করা হয়, তখন প্রশ্নবোধক structure ব্যবহার হয় না। সাধারণ statement-এর মতো subject + verb order হয়।
- Embedded question-এ subject + verb এর সাধারণ ক্রম থাকে, প্রশ্নবোধক ক্রম (যেমন does he live) ব্যবহার করা হয় না।

Structure:
Subject + verb + question word + subject + verb.

- I know where he lives.
- I know what he wants.
- I know when she comes.

ভুল অপশনগুলো:

খ) I know where does he live → এটি direct প্রশ্নের ক্রম, embedded question-এ ব্যবহার করা যায় না।
গ) I know where he living → ভুল, কারণ “living” এর সাথে auxiliary verb “is” থাকা উচিত ছিল।

• Embedded question:
- বাক্যের মাঝে wh-word বসে যে প্রশ্ন তৈরি করে তাই embedded question.
- Embedded question, English Grammar এর এমন একটি নিয়ম যেখানে একটি  assertive বাক্যের মধ্যে একটি interrogative বা প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য সন্নিবেশিত করা হয়।
- এরা প্রশ্নের মত কিন্তু প্রশ্ন নয়। 
- Wh words সমূহ sentence এর মাঝে বসলে প্রশ্ন করার যোগ্যতা হারায়।
- এমন বাক্যের প্রথম অংশে যেকোন এমনকি প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য ও বসতে পারে।
- প্রশ্ন বোধক বাক্য প্রথম অংশে বসলে সবার শেষে প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন এবং না থাকলে full stop হয়।

• Exchange এর পর সাধারণত preposition for বসে। যেমন-
• He exchanged his collection of matchboxes for some foreign stamps.
• He gave the his old car in exchange for a new one.

• Options,
- although: যদিও; যদ্যপি। 
- provided that: যদি।
- nevertheless: তথাপি; তবু; তা সত্ত্বেও।
- in case: ঘটনাচক্রে।

অপশন গুলো বিবেচনা করলে দেখা যায়, শূন্যস্থানে provided that বসালে বাক্যটি পরিপূর্ণ হয়।

Complete sentence: You can borrow my car, provided that you drive carefully.
Bangla meaning: তুমি আমার গাড়িটি ধার নিতে পারবে, যদি তুমি সাবধানে গাড়ি চালাও।

Superlative degree এর পূ্র্বে সর্বদা ‍article ‘the’ বসাতে হয়।
উপরোল্লেখিত উদাহরণে শূণ্যস্থানের পরে most intelligent হলো superlative degree. তাই এর পূর্বে ‍article ‘the’ বসবে। ‍a, an বসবে না।

- She attended on the wounded soldier day and night.

- পুরস্কারটি কাকে দেয়া হবে তা নির্দিষ্ট নয়।
- Antecedent যদি নির্দিষ্ট থাকে, সেক্ষেত্রে Who, Whom বসে
- এখানে যেহেতু অনির্দিষ্টতা বুঝাচ্ছে সেহেতু Whoever হবে। 
- যদি কোন বাক্যে Sub ও Verb উভয় দিকেই সমান থাকে সে ক্ষেত্রে whom (Antecedent নির্দিষ্ট হলে)/whomever (Antecedent অনির্দিষ্ট হলে) বসে।

• along with, as well as, together with, including, addition to, accompanied by ইত্যাদি দ্বারা দুইটি subject যুক্ত হলে verb হবে প্রথম subject অনুযায়ী।
- এখানে The project এবং its detailed specifications - along with দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়েছে।
- প্রথম subject The project, singular বিধায় verb টি singular হবে।

- Bangla Meaning: আনন্দ প্রকাশ করা।
- English Meaning: to be extremely joyful.

- এখানে with/on/to ব্যবহার করলে ভুল হবে।

​- Bridegroom মানে বর (পুরুষ), আর Bride মানে কনে (মহিলা)।
- যেহেতু bridegroom পুরুষ, তাই তার সঙ্গে his ব্যবহার হবে, her নয়।
- Bridegroom-এর স্ত্রী হয় wife, husband নয়।

• Either.....or/ Neither....nor দ্বারা দুইটা Noun/Pronoun যুক্ত হলে শেষের noun/pronoun অনুযায়ী verb বসে।
- শেষের noun/pronoun টি singular হলে পরবর্তী verb singular হবে।
- শেষের noun/pronoun টি plural হলে পরবর্তী verb plural হবে।
- এখানে যেহেতু, শেষের অংশে his brothers – Plural Noun, তাই plural verb 'are' হবে।

Structure: [Either/neither] + noun + [or/nor] + singular noun + singular verb.
- Neither the chairman nor the member is present.

Structure: [Either/neither] + noun + [or/nor] + plural noun + plural verb.
-Neither he or his friends have attended the function.

Other Options:
ক) Either he or his brothers is guilty.
→শেষের pronoun টি plural হওয়ায় singular verb এর ব্যবহার ভুল।

ক) Cattle are grazing on the field. - "Cattle" একটি collective noun যা সবসময় plural verb নেয়।

খ) The police have arrested the criminal. - "Police" একটি collective noun যা plural verb নেয়।

গ) The majority are in his favor. - যখন "majority" কোনো গোষ্ঠীকে বোঝায়, তখন plural verb ব্যবহার হয়।

- দলের পারফরম্যান্সের পর কোচ তাদের তিরস্কার করলেন।

Chewed out (verb)
- English meaning: reprimand, bawl out.

Massacred and Slaughtered is used to mean the mass killing. A tyrant not always.

Carry on with - (কোনো কিছু) করে/চালিয়ে যাওয়া: Whatever happens, I will carry on my work.

Carry something out - (ক) পালন/কার্যকর/সম্পন্ন করা: carry out a plan/threat/promise etc.
(খ) চালানো/সম্পন্ন/নিষ্পন্ন করা: carry out experiments/tests.

Carry something forward - (বাণিজ্য. হিসাব.) পরপৃষ্ঠায় জের টানা।

Carry somebody/something through - (ক) (বাধাবিপত্তির মধ্য দিয়ে) সাহায্য করা; সহায় হওয়া: His tenacity has carried him through;
(খ) পূর্ণ/পালন করা: The contract must be carried through.

• Causative Verb:
- Subject যখন নিযে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করায় তখন এই অর্থে Causative Verb ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকে।
- Have, Get, Help, Let, Make ইত্যাদি প্রচলিত Causative Verb.
- Make, Have, Get ইত্যাদি যোগে verb কে Causative Verb এ পরিনত করা হয়।
- Causative Verb হিসেবে Make এর ব্যবহার: Make এরপর ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু যাই থাকুক না কেন এরপর verb এর Base form বস।
- কেউকে কোন কিছু করতে বাধ্য করা অথবা Have, Get এর চেয়ে বেশি জোর প্রদান করতে Make ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকে।

- The president এবং the entire cabinet, along with দ্বারা যুক্ত হওয়ায় The president অনুযায়ী verb টি singular হবে অর্থাৎ, was হবে।

• with, together with, as well as, along with, in addition to, accompanied by দ্বারা কোন Noun বা Pronoun যুক্ত হলে verb টি প্রথম Subject অনুযায়ী হয়।
- প্রথম Subject টি Singular হলে Verb টি Singular হবে।
- প্রথম Subject টি Plural হলে Verb টি Plural হবে।

– "To read books" একটি infinitive phrase, তাই verb হওয়া উচিত ছিল is.

খ) Reading novels are my favourite pastime.
– "Reading novels" একটি gerund phrase, যা একবচন subject, তাই verb হওয়া উচিত ছিল is.

গ) That she sings well surprise everyone.
– "That she sings well" একটি noun clause, যা একবচন subject, তাই verb হওয়া উচিত ছিল surprises.

• Correct Sentence: Each of the boys has done his homework.

• One of/ Any of/ Each of/ Either of/ Neither of যদি subject হিসেবে ব্যবহার  হয় তাহলে এরপরে সব সময় Plural Noun বসে। যার কারণে এটি 'Each of the boys' হয়েছে।
- আর 'Each of the boys' phrase এর headword টি 'Each' singular হওয়ায় Verb Singular হবে।
- তাই Verb হিসেবে has ব্যবহার হয়েছে।

• All of it - Singular sense প্রকাশ করে।
- Subject 3rd person singular number হলে Present Indefinite Tense এর ক্ষেত্রে verb এর সাথে s/es হয়।
- এই নিয়মানুযায়ী All of It এরপর verb depend এর সাথে -s যুক্ত হয়েছে।

• যেহেতু - All of it Singular sense প্রকাশ করে, তাই এর সাথে plural verb এর ব্যবহার ভুল।
- তাই All of it are depending on you এবং All of it are depended on you  বাক্যদ্বয় ভুল।

• All of it depend on you - বাক্যে verb টি depends হলে বাক্যটি সঠিক হতো।
