রাইজোবিয়াম:
- রাইজোবিয়াম এক ধরনের ব্যাকটেরিয়া।
- এই ব্যাকটেরিয়া শিম ও ডাল জাতীয় উদ্ভিদের শিকড়ের কাছে অবস্থান নিয়ে বায়ু থেকে নাইট্রোজেন গ্রহন করে শিকড়ে গুটি তৈরি করে।
- এ ব্যাকটেরিয়া বায়ুমণ্ডল থেকে নাইট্রোজেন সংযোজন করে নিজের প্রয়োজন মিটায় এবং উদ্ভিদে সরবরাহ করে।
- শিম জাতীয় উদ্ভিদ যেমন- মুগ, মসুর, ছোলা, মটর, সয়াবিন, চিনাবাদাম, ধইঞ্চা ইত্যাদি ফসলে ব্যাকটেরিয়া সার ব্যবহার করে উত্তম ফসল পাওয়া যায়।
- নাইট্রোজেন সংবন্ধনকারী রাইজেবিয়াম অণুজীব সার ইউরিয়া সারের পরিবর্তে ব্যবহার করা হয়।
