- সাধারণত verb -কে কখন (when), কোথায় (where), কেন (why) ও কীভাবে (how) দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর হিসেবে যে phrase পাওয়া যায় সেটিই Adverbial phrase.

• Prepositional Phrase:
- A prepositional phrase consists of a preposition followed by its object (usually a noun phrase).
- যে phrase - preposition দিয়ে শুরু হয়, কিন্তু Adjective বা Adverb -এর কাজ করে, তাকে Prepositional Phrase বলে।
