Preposition, Conjunction and Interjection

even if, otherwise বসলে বাক্যটি অর্থপূর্ণ হয়। 
Antibiotics এর সম্পূর্ণ course গ্রহন করতে হবে এমনকি ভাল বোধ করলেও নাহয় তোমার অসুস্থতা আবার ফিরে আসবে। 
এখানে, unless is a conjunction যার অর্থ ‘except if’ বা ‘ যদি না’।
Example : You can’t get a job unless you have experience.

so that একটি conjunction যার অর্থ - যাহাতে, যদি কেবল। 
বাকি শব্দগুলো বসালে বাক্যটি অর্থপূর্ণ হয় না।
তাই even if, otherwise উত্তরটি সঠিক।

Complete Sentence - You have to take the full course of your antibiotics even if you feel better otherwise your illness will simply return.

Use of the word "confine to":
- something is confined to a place; it means it exists only in that place. 
- Confined to bed means: unable to move without assistance.
- In other words, be unable to leave one’s bed, home, or wheelchair due to illness or disability. 
- বাংলা অর্থ: শয্যাগত।

- Bangla Meaning: সেই কারণে; সুতরাং।
- বাক্যে should এর পরে কারণ বুঝায় এমন শব্দ ব্যবহৃত হবে।

- কোন ঘটনার সম্ভাবনা বুঝাতে in case ব্যবহার হয়।

• Get over something
- English Meaning: overcome, surmount a difficulty; to return to your usual state of health or happiness after having a bad or unusual experience, or an illness.
- Bangla Meaning: (ক) (অসুস্থতা, আঘাত, বিস্ময় ইত্যাদি) কাটিয়ে ওঠা। (খ) জয় করা; দমন করা; কাটিয়ে ওঠা।

আবার,

অন্যদিকে,
- Get off - রওয়ানা দেওয়া; যাত্রা করা: We got off at dawn.
- Get down to something - মন দিয়ে কাজে নেমে যাওয়া: get down to one’s work.
- Get somebody down (কথ্য.) বিষণ্ণ করা।

He is deprived of his right - সে তার অধিকার থেকে বঞ্চিত।

Connive at: 
English Meaning - To allow something bad to happen although you know about it. 
Bangla Meaning - চোখ বুজে থাকা; দেখেও না-দেখার ভান করা; প্রতিবাদ করা উচিত জেনেও প্রতিবাদ না-করা; উপেক্ষা করা (এমনভাবে, যাতে নীরব সম্মতিই প্রকটিত হয়)।

Example Sentence:
- The manager cannot connive at unethical practices within the company.

Complete Sentence -She had murdered or connived at the murder of one of her lovers.

• Complete sentence: She stayed at home, for it was raining heavily.
- Bangla Meaning: সে বাড়িতে থাকল, কারণ বাইরে ভারি বৃষ্টি হচ্ছিল।

• For (conjunction)
- English Meaning: for the reason that: on this ground: because.
- Bangla Meaning: (কথ্য ইংরেজিতে বিরল, বাক্যের শুরুতে ব্যবহৃত হয় না) কেননা; যেহেতু; কারণ; বলে।

- পূর্বের কোনো কিছুর ফলস্বরূপ কারণ বা জন্য অর্থে 'For' ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• Other options:
ক) if - যদি অর্থে conjunction হিসেবে শর্ত বুঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
খ) in spite of - (কিছু) সত্ত্বেও অর্থে linker হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর টি হবে -be.

• Lest এর পরের Clause এ Should/ might/ be বসে।
- শব্দটি মূলত: একটি Conjunction - যার অর্থ পাছে বা সেই ভয়ে।

- Lest নিজেই Negative হওয়ায় এর পর আর কোনো negative শব্দ no/not/never বসে না।

- Lest + 1st subject + should/might + base form + complement.
- Lest + 1st subject + should/might/be + be + V3 + complement.

• Conjunction
- যে Part of speech দুই বা ততোধিক Word, Phrase বা Clause এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে, তাকে Conjunction বলে।

• There are three basic types of conjunctions:

1. Coordinating conjunctions:
- যা সমমানের দুইটি word, phrase বা clause এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে।
- যেমন: and, or, but, etc…

2. Subordinating Conjunctions:
- যে Conjunction একটি clause এর শুরুতে বসে অন্য clause এর স্থান, কাল, ধরণ, মাত্রা, ইত্যাদি বুঝানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাকে Subordinating Conjunction বলে।

- পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত conjunction গুলোই Correlative Conjunctions.
- যেমন: as ….. as ; either ….. or ; not only ….. but also ; etc.

• Use of across as Preposition
- 'across' সাধারণত এক প্রান্ত থেকে অন্য প্রান্তে যেতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- কিছু ক্ষেত্রে এটি কোনো কিছুর উপর দিয়ে আড়াআড়িভাবে যাওয়ার অর্থেও ব্যবহৃত হয়.

খ) Into
- ভিতরে/মধ্যে প্রবেশ করা/রূপান্তর করা অর্থে "Into" preposition ব্যবহার করা হয়।

- Translate the text into Bangla.

ঘ) Along
- কোনো রেখা, রাস্তা বা নদী বরাবর চলা বা থাকা বোঝাতে বা কোনো কিছুর সাথে একই দিকে বা পাশাপাশি থাকা বোঝাতে along ব্যবহৃত হয় ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: He walked along the beach.

• Good at:
- We use an adjective + at to talk about things that we do well or badly.
- অর্থ হলো দক্ষ।
- কোনো কিছুতে দক্ষ বোঝাতে সাধারণত Good at বসে।
- "Good with" is used when talking about people or specific objects.
- "Good at" is used when talking about activities or areas of expertise.

- অর্থাৎ কারো সাথে হঠাৎ / আকস্মিক ভাবে দেখা হওয়া বুঝাতে bump into ব্যবহৃত হয়।

bump into someone:

Bangla meaning: কারো সাথে হঠাৎ / আকস্মিক ভাবে দেখা হওয়া।

as though = যেন মনে হয়
even if = এমনকি যদিও
as = যেহেতু, কারণ, যেভাবে, যখন
বাক্যের অর্থ: তারা এমন ভাবে কথা বলে যেন মনে হয় তারা শিল্প সাহিত্যের প্রতি খুবই আগ্রহী।
বাক্যের প্রসঙ্গ অনুযায়ী এখানে কেবল as though ব্যবহার করাই যথোপযুক্ত।

• As if/as though (conjunction) এর ব্যবহার: 
- as if/as though এর পূর্বে present indefinite tense থাকলে as if/as though এর পরে past indefinite হয়।
- be verb থাকলে সবসময় were হয়।

Example: He speaks as if he were mad.

• আবার, as if/as though এর পূর্বে Past indefinite tense থাকলে as if/as though এর পরে past perfect হয়।
Example: He spoke as though he had been mad.

তাই, Complete Sentence - He spoke as though he had known all the answers.

Appropriate preposition-এর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী রূপান্তরে অর্থে convert-এর পর to/into বসে।

• Present Perfect Continuous Tense এর ক্ষেত্রে ব্যাপক সময় (Period of time) এর পূর্বে for এবং নির্দিষ্ট সময় (Point of time) এর পূর্বে since বসে।

Meaning: অস্বীকার; প্রত্যাখ্যান।

• Appropriate preposition এর ক্ষেত্রে,
- denial এর সাথে 'অস্বীকার/ প্রত্যাখ্যান' অর্থ বুঝাতে of বসে।
- এই বাক্যটির ক্ষেত্রে of বসালে বাক্যটির অর্থ পরিপূর্ণ হয়।

So-compound sentence এ ফলাফল বর্ণনা করার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়।
If শর্ত বর্ণনা করার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়।
প্রশ্নে উল্লিখিত স্থানে ফলাফল বর্ণনা করা লক্ষণীয়। তাই উত্তর c.

- English meaning: to come into sight: become plain: show. 
- Bangla meaning: প্রতীয়মান হওয়া।
