- Not only যদি subject এর আগে বসে তাহলে But also-ও subject এর আগে বসে।

• Conjunction:
- যে Part of speech দুই বা ততোধিক Word, Phrase বা Clause এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে, তাকে Conjunction বলে।

• There are three basic types of conjunctions:
1. Coordinating Conjunction:
- যা সমমানের দুইটি word, phrase বা clause এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে।
- অর্থাৎ Coordinating Conjunctions সমান গুরুত্বসম্পন্ন দুটি word, phrase, বা clause যুক্ত করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: and, or, but, yet, so, nor, etc.

2. Subordinating Conjunction:
- যে Conjunction একটি clause এর শুরুতে বসে অন্য clause এর স্থান, কাল, ধরণ, মাত্রা, ইত্যাদি বুঝানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাকে Subordinating Conjunction বলে।
- অর্থাৎ, একটি clause অন্য clause-এর ওপর নির্ভরশীল হলে, সেখানে Subordinating Conjunction ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: how, if, lest, after, although, as, because, before, even if, even though, once, since, unless, until, when, where, while, etc.

3. Correlative Conjunction:
- পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত conjunction গুলোই হলো Correlative Conjunctions.
- অর্থাৎ, Correlative Conjunctions এগুলো সবসময় জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং একই ধরনের word বা phrase যুক্ত করে।
- যেমন: either…or, neither…nor, not only…but also, both…and, whether…or, as…as, ইত্যাদি।

Had I been… = If I had been…
অর্থাৎ, past perfect বা third conditional.
সুতরাং, পরের অংশের structure হবে -
Sub + would/could/might + have + Verb এর pp.
আর passive form এ থাকলে হবে -
Sub + would/could/might + have + been + verb এর pp.
সুতরাং, Would have invested in clean energy সঠিক।

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - Eek!

- Bangla meaning: দৃঢ়ভাবে লেগে থাকা, সেঁটে থাকা।

- Appropriate preposition এর ক্ষেত্রে,
- Adhere এর সাথে 'দৃঢ়ভাবে লেগে থাকা' অর্থ বুঝাতে to বসে।
- এই বাক্যটির ক্ষেত্রে to বসালে বাক্যটির অর্থ পরিপূর্ণ হয়।

- এই ক্ষেত্রে সঠিক phrasal verb হলো look into.
- look into - কোনো বিষয়/সমস্যা গভীরভাবে তদন্ত করা, খতিয়ে দেখা, বিবেচনা করা।

ক) On
- স্পর্শ অবস্থায় উপরে বা সংস্পর্শ বুঝাতে on বসে।

- সদস্য বুঝাতে on বসে।

- "In spite of" এখানে পরামর্শের বিপরীতে কাজ না করা বোঝানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

• Period of time এর পূর্বে for বসে।
- Period of time হচ্ছে সেই সময়কাল যাকে সময় গণনার একক (সেকেন্ড, মিনিট, শাস, বছর ইত্যাদি) দ্বারা গণনা করা যায়। Example: এক মিনিট, দুই মিনিট, এক ঘন্টা, দুই ঘন্টা, এক মাস, এক বছর ইত্যাদি।
- ব্যতিক্রম: (for) a long time (অনেক/ দীর্ঘ সময়/ দিন)

Bangla meaning: এই শর্তে (যে)।
এখনে Provided দ্বারা দুটি clause কে সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে তাই এটি conjunction.
পর্যাপ্ত আসন থাকা সাপেক্ষে যে কেউ এই ভ্রমণে আসতে পারেন।

Complete sentence: He acts as if he were rich.
Bangla meaning: সে এমনভাবে আচরণ করে যেন সে একজন ধনী।

As if: যেন অর্থে as if/ as though ব্যবহৃত হয়। As if যুক্ত sentence এর প্রথম অংশ এর  verb টি Present indefinite হলে এর পরবর্তী অংশের verb টি হবে past indefinite form এ।
Structure: Subject+ verb(present form )+as if/as though+ subject+ verb (past indefinite form)
Example: He speaks as if he were mad.

আবার As if যুক্ত sentence এর প্রথম অংশ এর  verb টি Past indefinite হলে এর পরবর্তী অংশের verb টি হবে past perfect form এ।
Structure: Subject+ verb(past form) +as if/as though + subject+ verb(past perfect )
Example:
He acted as if he had known everything

Other options: 
If: সাধারণত দুটি Clause বা দুটি sentence কে সংযুক্ত করতে 'IF' ব্যবহৃত হয় । ভবিষ্যত  সম্ভাব্য অবস্থা এবং তার ফলাফল বোঝাতে if ব্যাবহার করা হয় ।
Example: Water boils if you heat it to 100 degree.

So/Therefore: ২য় clause টি ১ম clause এর ফলাফল বোঝালে ২য় clause এর পূর্বে সে জন্য/ সে কারণে অর্থে so/therefore বসে।
