Hopefully (adverb):
Meaning - (১) আশাপ্রদরূপে।
(২) আমি আশা করছি; আশা করা যায়।

Adverb: 
- যেসব word noun বা pronoun ব্যতীত অন্য যেকোনো parts of speech, বিশেষ করে verb কে modify করে সেগুলোকে Adverb বলে।
- Adverb অন্য কোনো verb, adjective, adverb, preposition অথবা পুরো sentence টিকেই modify করতে পারে। 

• Hopefully, the weather will be good soon.
- এই বাক্যটিতে 'Hopefully' শব্দটি পুরো sentence কে modify করছে। 
- তাই, এখানে 'Hopefully' হচ্ছে Adverb.

Adhere to (Phrase):
English Meaning: to follow, abide by, or stick to something, such as a principle or rule.
বাংলা অর্থ: দৃঢ়ভাবে লেগে থাকা, সেঁটে থাকা; বিশ্বস্ত/ অনুগত/ অবিচল থাকা; বিচ্যুত না-হওয়া; দৃঢ়ভাবে সমর্থন করা।

Complete Sentence: He does not adhere to any principle.
Meaning - তিনি কোন নিয়ম নীতির তোয়াক্কা করেন না।  

Preposition:
- Noun ও pronoun- এর পূর্বে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে বাক্যের অন্য অংশের সাথে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করে। 

• But (preposition): 
Meaning - ব্যতিরেকে, ছাড়া। 

• This car has been nothing but trouble.
Meaning - এই গাড়িটি বিপদ ছাড়া আর কিছুই না। 
- এখানে 'but' হচ্ছে preposition; কারণ 'but' শব্দটি noun (trouble) এর পূর্বে বসে বাক্যের অন্য অংশের সাথে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করছে।

Convict somebody (of something): 
- দোষী সাব্যস্ত করা; অপরাধী বলে রায় দেওয়া। 
- কাউকে কোন বিষয়ে অভিযুক্ত করা অর্থে Convict এর সাথে 'of' preposition ব্যবহৃত হয়।

English Meaning - To say firmly or demand forcefully, especially when others disagree with or oppose what you say.
Bangla Meaning - জোর দিয়ে/দৃঢ়তা সহকারে বলা।

English Meaning - To allow something bad to happen although you know about it. 
Bangla Meaning - চোখ বুজে থাকা; দেখেও না-দেখার ভান করা; প্রতিবাদ করা উচিত জেনেও প্রতিবাদ না-করা; উপেক্ষা করা (এমনভাবে, যাতে নীরব সম্মতিই প্রকটিত হয়)।

Hereditary (adjective): 
English Meaning - (of characteristics or diseases) passing from a parent to a child through the genes. 
Bangla Meaning - পুত্রপৌত্রাদিক্রমে প্রাপ্ত; পরম্পরাগত; ক্রমায়ত; কৌলিক; বংশানুক্রমিক। 

• Depression is often hereditary.
- এই বাক্যে 'hereditary' শব্দটি Depression (noun) কে modify করছে। 
- তাই, এটি একটি Adjective. 

Conform to: 
English Meaning: Comply with rules, standards, or laws.
Bangla Meaning:  অনুরূপ হওয়া; (প্রতিষ্ঠিত রীতি বা আচার) মেনে চলা। 
- কোনো প্রতিষ্ঠিত রীতি বা আচার মেনে চলা বোঝাতে Conform এরপর preposition হিসাবে to বসে।

Example Sentence - You are to conform to the rules of the organization.
Bangla Meaning - আপনাকে প্রতিষ্ঠানের নিয়ম মেনে চলতে হবে।

Adverb: 
- A word that describes or gives more information about another word, esp. a verb, adjective, or other adverb, or about a phrase. 
- Adverb এমন একটি part of speech যা একটি verb, adjective, অন্য আর একটি adverb অথবা পুরো একটি বাক্যকে ও মডিফাই করতে পারে।
- অর্থাৎ, যেসব word noun বা pronoun ছাড়া অন্য যেকোন parts of speech, বিশেষ করে verb কে modify করে সেগুলোকে adverb বলে।
- কখন, কোথায়, কীভাবে, কেন এই প্রশ্নগুলোর উত্তর যা আসে তা adverb হয়ে থাকে।

Better (adverb): 
- In a more suitable, pleasing, or satisfactory way, or to a greater degree. 

Better (noun): 
- Something that is of a higher standard than something else. 

Better (verb): 
- To improve a situation.

ক) The next time he took the test, he was better prepared.
- এখানে 'better' শব্দটি prepared (adjective) কে modify করছে। 
- তাই, এটি একটি adverb.
