→ এ ধরণের বাক্য যদি Do verb দিয়ে শুরু হয়, তাহলে প্রথমে তাকে Assertive Sentence- এ পরিণত করে তারপর তাকে Interrogative Sentence- এ পরিবর্তন করা সুবিধাজনক। 

Active Voice: Do you want me?
Assertive Sentence: You want me. ↔ I am wanted by you. 
Passive Voice: Am I wanted by you?

Assertive Sentence: You buy a pen. ↔ A pen is bought by you.
Passive Voice: Is a pen bought by you?

- প্রদত্ত Active voice এর subject ও verb বসবে।

- should be বসবে।

• Help, Make, need, dare, bare, hear, feel, know ইত্যাদি causative verb গুলোর পর active voice এ bare infinitive হয় অর্থাৎ to উহ্য থাকে। 
- কিন্তু passive এ পরিবর্তন করবার সময় তাদের পর to বসাতে হয়।

• Causative verb যুক্ত বাক্যটির passive voice এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম -
- Object কে  sub + auxiliary verb + verb - এর past participle form + to +  মুল verb + by + sub কে object.
- এক্ষেত্রে double object থাকায়, ব্যাক্তি বাচক object টিকে subject হিসেবে ব্যবহার করতে হয়।

- প্রথম উপায় (Personal passive):
- সাধারণত Acknowledge, assume, think, claim, believe, know, report, understand, ইত্যাদি verb যুক্ত Active voice এর Passive করার নিয়ম-
- Personal object টিকে subject ধরা হয়।
- Tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb বসে।
- মূল verb -এর past participle + to be + direct object + by + subject -এর objective form.
- যেমন:
- Active: People thought that the autocrat was corrupt.
- Passive: The autocrat was thought to be corrupt.

- দ্বিতীয় উপায় (Impersonal passive):
- দ্বিতীয় অংশকে 'It' ধরে। যেমন:
- Active: People thought that the autocrat was corrupt.
- Passive: It was thought that the autocrat was corrupt.

- Subject হিসেবে People থাকলে Passive voice -এ সাধারণত তা লেখা হয় না।
- তবে, দ্বিতীয় অংশে transitive verb থাকলে দ্বিতীয় অংশেরও Passive করতে হয়।

- এটি ভুল কারণ, এখানে ভুল tense (is = present, কিন্তু মূল বাক্যে past tense) ব্যবহার হয়েছে।

♦ Active Voice কে Passive Voice করতে হলে সাধারণত ৫টি কাজ করতে হয়।
১. Object → Subject হবে আর Subject -> Object হবে।
২. যদি কোন Auxiliary Verb থাকে, তাহলে সেটা বসবে।
৩. অতিরিক্ত একটি be verb বসবে।
৪. মূল Verb এর Past Participle বসবে।
৫. একটি Preposition (by / to / with / at/in) বসবে।

• Continuous Tense এ মূল Verb এর সাথে ing লাগানো থাকে, তাই অতিরিক্ত be verb এর সাথে ing লাগিয়ে “being” বসাতে হয়।
যেমন-
Active: I am eating a mango.
Passive: A mango is being eaten by me.

• Perfect Continuous Tense একটু ব্যতিক্রম। এ ক্ষেত্রে কোন অতিরিক্ত be verb বসবে না।
যেমন-
Active: I have been reading the book for two hours. 
Passive: The book has been read for two hours by me.
