Direct speech: Mina says, "My father teaches me mathematics.
Indirect speech: Mina says that her father teaches her mathematics.

- বাংলাদেশের খুব কম জনগণই শিক্ষিত - Very few people of Bangladesh are educated. 
- এই স্কুলের খুব কম মেয়েরাই সুন্দরী - Very few girls of this school are beautiful. 
- সে খুব কমই কথা বলে - He speaks very few words.

ঘ) Least + Uncountable Noun Much-less-least-সবই uncountable noun-এর ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Examples:
- এই গ্লাসে সবচেয়ে কম পানি ধরে - This glass contains the least water. 
- সে সবচেয়ে কম বুঝে - He understands the least.
- মনে হয় মেয়েটি সবচেয়ে কম ভদ্রতা জানে -The girl seems to know the least gentility.

উল্লিখিত অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে - He climbed the tree like a cat.
- এই বাক্যে like preposition হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

• Preposition হিসেবে like: (মত, রকম)
- in the manner of, similarly to or having the characteristics of, similar to ইত্যাদি বোঝানোর ক্ষেত্রে like preposition হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- সে একটি বিড়ালের মতো গাছে উঠেছিল এই অর্থে like এখানে preposition.

- তাছাড়াও, Like এখানে a cat- noun এর পূর্বে অবস্থান করে বাক্যের অন্যান্য word এর সাথে nounটির সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করেছে অর্থাৎ preposition এর কাজ করেছে।

অন্য অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে -

ক) He likes to eat fish.
- এই বাক্যে Like হচ্ছে Verb.
- সে মাছ খেতে পছন্দ করে অর্থাৎ পছন্দ করা অর্থে like এখানে verb.

খ) He laughs like his father does.
- Here, "like" is used as a conjunction.
- in the same way that; as এই অর্থে like conjunction হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

এখানেও like ‘মত`এর ন্যায় অর্থ দিচ্ছে বলে মনে হয়, কিন্তু এখানে যেহেতু like এর পরের অংশ একটি Clause এবং like পরের Clause কে পূর্বের Clause এর সাথে সংযুক্ত করছে, তাই এটা এখানে Conjunction.

ঘ) Like-minded people are necessary to start a business.
- Here, "like" is used as an adjective within the compound adjective "like-minded". Here like means ‘similar’.
- তাই এটিকে preposition বলা যাবে না।
