- Present participle হলো verb + ing রূপ, যা continuous tense তৈরি করতে বা adjective হিসেবে noun-কে বিশেষিত করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি সাধারণত দুইভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়:
প্রথমত, Continuous tense গঠনে। Auxiliary verb (be verb) এর সাথে যুক্ত হয়ে কাজের চলমান অবস্থা প্রকাশ করে। যেমন: He is running fast. এখানে running present participle।

Gerund:

Though/ Although যুক্ত বাক্যে অপর Clause টি Principal Clause  হয় এবং সাধারণত তার সাথে কোন connector/ conjunction বসে না। উপরোক্ত অপশন গুলোর মধ্যে কেবল অপশন ঘ এ কোন  conjunction  বসে নি। কিন্তু বাকী সব sentence এ, but, yet, or etc  conjunction  গুলো বসেছে।

Angry with (a person)-
(কারো সঙ্গে) রাগান্বিত৷
যেমন-

Angry at (one's conduct)-
(আচরণ বা কর্মের উপর) রাগান্বিত৷

-"How long" দিয়ে কোনো কাজের ব্যাপ্তি বা সময় জানতে চাওয়া হলে বাক্যটি Present Perfect Continuous Tense-এ হয়। আবার যেহেতু এটি একটি প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য তাই Auxiliary verb (has) subject-এর আগে বসবে। তাই শূন্যস্থানে "has he been" বসবে।
