• একটি চিঠির প্রধানত ৬টি অংশ থাকে। যথা-

1. Heading (শিরোনাম) -
- লেখকের পূর্ণ ঠিকানা ও তারিখ চিঠির ডানদিকে, উপরিভাগে লেখা হয়।

2. Salutation (সম্ভাষণ/সম্বোধন) -
- এই অংশে যার কাছে পত্র লেখা হচ্ছে তাকে সম্বোধন করে লেখা হয়।
