• Up (preposition)
- Bangla Meaning:  উচ্চতর স্থানে, অবস্থানে, মাত্রায় ইত্যাদি। 
- English Meaning: used as a function word to indicate motion to or toward or situation at a higher point of.

- The cat climbed up the tree.
- বিড়ালটি গাছে উঠে গেল।
- এখানে “up”, noun phrase (article + noun) এর পূর্বে বসেছে তাই এটি preposition.

- The number of এর পরে Noun - Plural হলেও Verb - Singular হয়। কারণ এখানে Subject এর Head-word হচ্ছে number (সংখ্যা) যা singular.
 
- A number of এর পরে Noun ও Verb দুইটাই Plural হয়। কারণ a number of একটি Plural Determiner যার অর্থ হচ্ছে কিছু সংখ্যক এবং এর পরের Noun টি Subject এর Head-word হয় এবং সে অনুযায়ী Verb বসে।

Superlative adjectives

- These are used to describe an object which is at the upper or lower limit of a quality (the tallest, the smallest, the fastest, the highest).
- They are used in sentences where a subject is compared to a group of objects. Noun (subject) + verb + the + superlative adjective + noun (object).

- In the given sentence, house is compared to a group of houses. 
- So, in the blanks, it should be a superlative adjective.
