- If যুক্ত Clause টি past indefinite tense হলে পরবর্তী clause টি subject+ would/could/might + verb-এর base form বসে। এখানে sub +will+ verb এর base form বসানো হয়েছে তাই এটি সঠিক নয়।

• Second conditional Sentence - এর 'If clause ' এ Past Indefinite ব্যবহৃত হলে principal clause এ would/ could/might + verb এর base form ব্যবহৃত হয়।
• if + past indefinite যুক্ত বাক্য complete করবার নিয়ম হচ্ছে - 
• If = past indefinite + subject + would/could/might + verb এর base form +object.

যেহেতু প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যের প্রথম clause টি if + past indefinite (wanted) এ আছে, সুতরাং এর পরের অংশে would help (Would/could/might + verb এর base form) বসবে।
