Factitive Object:
- Factitive Object (বা Objective Complement) হলো এমন একটি শব্দ বা শব্দগুচ্ছ যা Direct Object-কে বর্ণনা করে বা পরিচয় দেয়, এবং এটি সাধারণত কিছু নির্দিষ্ট Transitive Verb-এর পরে বসে যাদের সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ প্রকাশের জন্য Object ছাড়াও একটি অতিরিক্ত তথ্য (Complement) প্রয়োজন হয়।

Factitive Verb:
- যে সব Transitive verb অতিরিক্ত word (অর্থাৎ object complement) ছাড়া তার direct object দ্বারা পূর্ণ অর্থ প্রকাশ করতে পারে না, তাকে Factitive verb বলা হয়।
- অর্থাৎ, verb-এর পরে শুধু object থাকলে বাক্য অসম্পূর্ণ মনে হয়, কিন্তু যখন object-এর পরে একটি complement বসে তখন বাক্য পূর্ণ অর্থ প্রকাশ করে। সেই complement-কে বলা হয় Objective Complement বা Factitive Object।

Factitive Object চেনার নিয়ম:
১. বাক্যে একটি Direct Object থাকবে।
২. Direct Object-এর পরে আরেকটি Noun, Adjective বা Phrase থাকবে যা ঐ Object-কে বর্ণনা করছে বা নাম দিচ্ছে।
৩. এটি সাধারণত কিছু নির্দিষ্ট Verb-এর সাথে যায় যেমন: make, elect, appoint, name, call, consider, declare, crown, choose ইত্যাদি।

3. Correlative Conjunction:
- পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত conjunction গুলোই হলো Correlative Conjunctions.
- অর্থাৎ, Correlative Conjunctions এগুলো সবসময় জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং একই ধরনের word বা phrase যুক্ত করে।
- যেমন: either…or, neither…nor, not only…but also, both…and, whether…or, as…as, ইত্যাদি।

Participle used as adjectives.
Present participle adjectives amusing, boring, tiring etc., are active and mean ‘having this effect’. Past participle adjectives amused, horrified, tired etc,. are passive and ‘affected in this way’.

• Negative inversion এর ক্ষেত্রে,
- Negative adverb + Auxiliary verb +Subject + Principal verb + Extension.

ঘ) He does hardly go to the gym.
- এখানে emphasis বোঝানো হয়েছে।
- কিন্তু Subject আগে আছে, inversion নয়।

অর্থাৎ, past perfect বা third conditional.
সুতরাং, পরের অংশের structure হবে -
