• Opprobrium (Noun)

English Meaning: Severe criticism and blame.
Bangla Meaning: চরম অপমান, নিন্দা, কলঙ্ক। 

Synonyms: Disgrace (লজ্জাস্কর), Shame, infamy (কুখ্যাত, নিন্দনীয়) Reproach (তিরষ্কার), Scandal (কলঙ্ক)।
Antonyms: Honor (সম্মানজনক), Respect, Glory (গৌরব), Pride (আত্মতৃপ্তি), Esteem (সম্মান, আত্মমর্যাদা), Credit (কৃতিত্ব)।

- courage মূলত হচ্ছে একটি Abstract noun.

- যে Noun কোনো অবস্তুগত ধারণা বা গুনকে নির্দেশ করে, যার কোনো বাহ্যিক অস্তিত্ব নেই এবং যা ছোঁয়া যায় না, গন্ধ দ্বারা বা শ্রবণ দ্বারা বোঝা যায় না কিন্তু কল্পনা দ্বারা বোঝা যায় তাদেরকে Abstract Noun বলে।
- Abstract noun এর পূর্বে Article বসালে সেটি Common noun এ পরিণত হয়।

- used to say what will or will not happen if something else does not happen or is not true; except if.
- অন্য কিছু না ঘটলে বা সত্য না হলে কী হবে বা কী হবে না তা বলতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- অর্থাৎ, 'যদি না' অর্থে এটি শর্ত বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- এটি নিজেই negative অর্থ প্রদান করে।
- এজন্যে unless দ্বারা যে clause শুরু হয় তাতে no বা not বসে না।

- কেন "unless" সঠিক?
- কারণ, এখানে একটি শর্তের কথা বলা হয়ছে যে, আমন্ত্রিত না হলে আমি যাব না।
- Negative sentence + unless = সঠিক logic.
- তাই, unless I am -ই সবচেয়ে উপযুক্ত।

ঘ) If I am
- এটি opposite meaning দেয়।
- "I shall not go if I am invited" মানে: আমন্ত্রণ পেলে যাব না (ভুল অর্থ)।
- If I am not হলে সঠিক হতো।

• Participle:
- A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present participle) or -ed, -d, -t, -en, -n (past participle).
- Participle may function as Adjectives, describing or modifying Nouns.
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে।

• Participle মূলত তিন প্রকার:
1. Present Participle. Ex: The story is thrilling.
2. Past Participle. Ex: This is a book written by Charles Dickens.
3. Perfect Participle. Ex: Having gained the truth, keep the truth

• প্রদত্ত Sentence টিতে, Crying baby দ্বারা কাঁদছে এমন শিশু বা কাঁদছে শিশু কে বুঝানো হয়েছে। সুতরাং এটি verb এর কাজ করেছে।
- আবার, শিশুটি কেমন অবস্থায় আছে (কাঁদছে অবস্থায়) তা বুঝাচ্ছে বলে Crying হলো এখানে Adjective.
- সুতরাং Crying শব্দটি একই সাথে verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করল।
- তাই Crying শব্দটি এখানে Participle বা Present participle হিসেবে ব্যবহার হয়েছে।

• In lieu of/ Instead of: 
- In lieu of/ In stead of এর অর্থ পরিবর্তে। 
- একটি জিনিস বা বিষয়ের পরিবর্তে অন্যটি নেওয়া বা পছন্দ বুঝাতে এ phrase দুটি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- এ জাতীয় phrase simple sentence- এ বসে।

- On account of অর্থ 'কারণে' বা 'জন্যে'। 
- Because of অর্থ 'জন্য; দরুন'।

• Causative Verb
- বাক্যের Subject যে Verb গুলোর সাহায্যে নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করায় সেই Verb গুলোকে বলা হয় causative verb.
- Have, Get, Help, Let, Make ইত্যাদি হলো বহুল প্রচলিত causative verb.
- এগুলোর সাহায্যে অনেক verb- কে causative verb -এ পরিণত করা যায়।

• Causative Verb হিসাবে 'Make' -এর ব্যবহার:
- Make এরপরে কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু (Action doer) থাকলে এরপরে verb -এর base form বসে।
- কাউকে কোনো কিছু করতে বাধ্য করা অর্থে Causative Verb হিসাবে Make ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• Herd (Collective noun)
- English Meaning: a large group of animals of the same type that live and feed together; a congregation of gregarious wild animals.
- Bangla Meaning: (বিশেষত গবাদিপশুর) দল; পাল; দঙ্গল; যূথ; হলকা; (তুচ্ছার্থে) মানুষের দল।

- যেমন: A herd of cattle/deer/elephants/goats was grazing in the parkland.

অন্যদিকে,
• Flock - (১) (পাখির) ঝাঁক; (পশুর) পাল। (২) (মানুষের) দল।
 - যেমন: a group of sheep, goats, or birds.

• Litter -  a group of animals that are born at the same time and have the same mother. (পশু, বিশেষত কুকুর ও শূকরের বাচ্চা)

Adverbials of time:

We use adverbials of time to describe:

when something happens:
I saw Mary yesterday.
She was born in 1978.
I will see you later.
There was a storm during the night.

how long:
We waited all day.
They have lived here since 2004.
We will be on holiday from 1 July until 3 August.

how often (frequency):
They usually watched television in the evening.

Have verb গুলো হলো have, has, had.
Have verb গুলো বাক্যে main verb ছাড়া ব্যবহৃত হলে তখন এগুলো main/principle verb হিসেবে কাজ করে। যেহেতু প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত বাক্যে has একাকি ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। তাই এটি principle verb।
কতিপয় Modal verb
Can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would ইত্যাদি।
Causative verb: Subject নিজে কোন কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কোন কাজ করিয়ে নেয়া বোঝাতে causative verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
