• সাধারণত Neither of এর পরে plural noun বা pronoun এবং singular verb বসে।
- Neither দ্বারা দুইয়ের কোনটিই নয় বুঝানো হয়।

• 'Neither of' যুক্ত বাক্য গঠনের নিয়মাবলী:
- Neither + of + plural noun + singular verb.
- Neither of এর পরে plural noun এবং singular verb বসে।

• Gerund:

• প্রদত্ত Sentence টিতে 'Swim' (Verb) এর সাথে ing যুক্ত হয়ে Noun (Subject হিসেবে) এর মতো কাজ করেছে অর্থাৎ verb ও noun এর কাজ করে তখন তাকে Gerund বলে।
- সহজ ভাষায়, Gerund = Verb + ing = Noun = Verb + Noun.

• Correct Answer: Swimming is an excellent habit for exercise. Here, 'Swimming' is a/an - Gerund.

• Participle:

• Participle মূলত: তিন প্রকার:

- Bangla meaning: সরকার এখন পর্যন্ত এ বিষয়ে মন্তব্য করতে অস্বীকৃতি জানিয়েছে।

- “up to now” indicates an action continuing from the past to the present, so we use the present perfect.
- অর্থাৎ, এখানে up to now আছে, যা বোঝাচ্ছে কাজটি অতীত থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত ঘটেছে বা তার প্রভাব এখনো আছে। তাই এখানে Present Perfect Tense হবে।

• Present Perfect Tense:
- কোন কাজ পূর্বে শুরু হয়ে বর্তমানে চলছে বুঝালে Present Perfect Tense হয়।
- Structure: Subject + has/have + past participle.

• কোনো বাক্যে up to now, till now, so far, just now, already, yet, never, ever, recently, lately, ইত্যাদি থাকলে সেটি সাধারণত Present Perfect Tense হয়।

• Contention (noun)
English Meaning: Disagreement resulting from opposing arguments.
Bangla Meaning: তর্ক; যুক্তিপ্রদর্শন; কলহ।

Other Forms:

- It is high time–এর পর subject না থাকে তবে to + verb হয়।

• It is time/It is high time এরপর যদি subject না থাকে তবে to + verb হয়।

• Complete sentence: The prince went a hunting.

• কখনো কখনো preposition অর্থে 'a' ব্যবহৃত হয়, তখন সেই 'a' কে disguised preposition বলে।
- বাক্যটিতে went on hunting এর পরিবর্তে a hunting ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
- অর্থাৎ, বাক্যটির on রূপে a ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

• Note:
- Disguised Preposition: যদি preposition এর পরিবর্তে ‘a/o’ ব্যবহৃত হয় তখন তাদেরকে Disguised (ছদ্মবেশি) Preposition বলে।
- সাধারণত on এর পরিবর্তে ‘a’ এবং of এর পরিবর্তে ‘o’ বসে।

• A burnt child dreads the fire. Here 'burnt' is a - Participle.
→ বাক্যে Burnt শব্দটি Burn এর Verb এর Past Participle হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
→ Burnt শব্দটি একই সাথে Verb এবং Adjective এর কাজ করছে।
→ এটি এখানে child noun টিকে modify করছে একটি verbal adjective (বা participle adjective) হিসেবে কাজ করছে। 

• Participle:
- যে word একই সাথে Verb এবং Adjective (মাঝে মধ্যে Adverb) এর কাজ করে, তাকে Participle বলে।

Before conjunction যুক্ত sentence এ before এর পুর্বে past perfect tense হয় এবং before এর পরে past indifinite হবে।

- English Meaning: To set (someone) free from an obligation or the consequences of guilt;  to pardon or forgive (a sin).
- Bangla Meaning: (দোষ, অনুতাপ, পাপবোধ, অঙ্গীকার, প্রতিশ্রুতি) মুক্তি দেওয়া; বিমুক্ত করা।

• (দোষ, অনুতাপ, পাপবোধ, অঙ্গীকার, প্রতিশ্রুতি) মুক্তি দেওয়া; বিমুক্ত করা অর্থে Absolve এর সাথে proposition হিসেবে from/ of ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- Here, 'laughing' is- Participle.

- প্রদত্ত বাক্যে "laughing" শব্দটি present participle হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
- এখানে এটি মূল verb "entered"-এর সাথে মিলে participial phrase গঠন করেছে, যা subject (the girl) কে modify করছে এবং adjective-এর কাজ করছে।

• Present participle:
- Verb -এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়ে যদি adjective -এর কাজ করে অর্থাৎ, একই সাথে Verb ও adjective -এর কাজ করে, তাহলে তাকে present participle বলে।

অন্যদিকে,
• Gerund:

Austere (adjective)
- English Meaning: Plain and without decoration, comforts, or anything extra.
- Bangla Meaning: ১) (ব্যক্তি বা ব্যক্তির আচরণ) নির্মম নীতিপরায়ণ; কঠোর।
(২) (জীবনযাত্রা, স্থান ও রীতি সম্বন্ধে) অনাড়ম্বর; নিরাভরণ; কঠোর; বিশুষ্ক।

• Non-finite verb: 
- A non-finite verb is a verb form that does not show tense.
- Most non-finite verbs found in English are infinitives, participles, and gerunds.
- যে verb দ্বারা sentence এর বক্তব্য শেষ হয়না ও কোন Subject এর person ও number দ্বারা যার রূপ নির্ণয় করা যায় না তাকে Non finite verb বলে।
