বাক্যের context অনুযায়ী শূন্যস্থানে 'Unless' বসবে।

• Unless (conjunction + preposition)
English Meaning: except on the condition that; under any other circumstance than + except possibly.
Bangla Meaning: যদি না।

Example Sentences:
1. Unless you study regularly, you won't perform well in the exam.
2. Unless it rains, we'll have our picnic in the park tomorrow.

• Completing sentence এর ক্ষেত্রে:
- Lest অর্থ 'পাছে ভয় হয় যে'
- Lest negative অর্থ প্রদান করে।
- Lest দ্বারা যে clause আরম্ভ হয় তাতে no বা not বসে না।
- এটি দ্বারা যে clause শুরু হয় তার পরে should/might বসে।

• Lest যুক্ত Incomplete sentence কে complete করার নিয়ম:

Here yet is - a -Conjunction.

- yet, এখানে 'তবুও' অর্থ প্রকাশ করেছে এবং দুইটি বাক্যের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করেছে।
- Compound sentence এর দুইটি clause কে and, but, or, yet ইত্যাদি conjunction দ্বারা যুক্ত করতে হয়।

Conjunction:
A conjunction is a part of speech that connects two or more words, phrase, clause or sentence.
- Conjunction হলো একটি part of speech যা দুই বা ততোধিক words, phrase, clause বা sentence কে যুক্ত করে। 
- যেমন: but, or, and.

Conjunction সাধারণত দুই প্রকার।
যেমন:
1. Coordinating or Coordinative Conjunction.
2. Subordinating or Subjective Conjunction.

• Conjunction (Since)
- Since যদি দুটি Clause কে যুক্ত করে তাহলে টা হবে Conjunction.
- "যেহেতু বা কারণ" অর্থে Since ব্যবহার হলে তা Conjunction হয়ে যায়।

• উল্লিখত অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে - Since you are here early, let's start the meeting. - বাক্যে Since হচ্ছে Conjunction.
- প্রদত্ত Sentence টির বাংলা অর্থ - যেহেতু তুমি আগেই এসেছ, চল মিটিং শুরু করি।
- এখানে 'যেহেতু' অর্থে Since ব্যবহার হয়েছে এবং দুইটি clause কে যুক্ত করতে ব্যবহার হয়েছে তাই এটি Conjunction.

• Since (followed by a noun), Preposition হিসেবে Sentence এ বসে।
- 'থেকে' অর্থে Since ব্যবহার হলে এটি Preposition.

Examples: surprise, joy, pain, sorrow, anger, etc.
• Wow - A common interjection expressing amazement or admiration.

Wow (Interjection)
English meaning: Expressing wonder or amazement
Bangla meaning: হায়! বাহ! দারুণ!

Example Sentence:

- Bangla meaning: তাদের আবিষ্কারের আলোকে নতুন প্রক্রিয়া স্থাপিত হয়েছে।

• In light of/ in the light of something:
- English Meaning: because or as a result of; in consideration of; from the point of view of.
- Bangla Meaning: জন্য; দরুন; আলোকে; বিবেচনায় ইত্যাদি।

- অর্থাৎ, In light of অর্থ "বিবেচনায়" বা "আলোকে" – যা কারণ বা ভিত্তি নির্দেশ করে।

অন্যদিকে,
খ) Nonetheless অর্থ "তবুও" – এটি বিরোধিতা প্রকাশ করে।
গ) Inspite ভুল; সঠিক হলো "In spite of" অর্থ "সত্ত্বেও" যা বিরোধিতা প্রকাশ করে।
ঘ) Despite অর্থ "সত্ত্বেও" – এটিও বিরোধিতা প্রকাশ করে (Despite their findings = তাদের আবিষ্কার সত্ত্বেও)।
- অর্থাৎ, সত্ত্বেও অর্থে preposition হিসেবে Despite বা In spite of ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- Bangla Meaning: তৎসত্ত্বেও; একইসঙ্গে; যাই হোক।

• Yet এর ব্যবহার:
- Yet is used to add something that seems surprising because of what you have just said.
- অর্থাৎ, যা বলা হয়েছে তার সাথে আশ্চর্যজনক/চমকপ্রদ তথ্য যোগ করতে 'তৎসত্ত্বেও' অর্থে Yet ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• Unless (Except if)
- 'যদি না' অর্থে এটি শর্ত বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- এটি নিজেই negative অর্থ প্রদান করে।
- এজন্যে unless দ্বারা যে clause শুরু হয় তাতে no বা not বসে না।
- যেমন: You won't pass the exam unless you study seriously.

• Because (For the reason that; since)
-  সে-কারণে; কেননা; যেহেতু অর্থে conjunction হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: She stayed home because she was feeling unwell.

• So (In order that; for that reason)
- সুতরাং; অতএব; সে-কারণে; সেই জন্য অর্থে Subordinating conjunction হিসেবে 'so' ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- প্রথম clause এর ফলশ্রুতিতে দ্বিতীয় clause এর পূর্বে so বসে।
- যেমন: You asked me to come, so I came.

• Let alone do something
- অসম্ভব বলে কোনো কিছু ভাবা যায় না বা চিন্তা করা যায় না বোঝাতে 'let alone' ব্যবহার হয়।
- অর্থাৎ, প্রথম কাজই করতে পারে না তাই দ্বিতীয় কাজের সম্ভাবনা আরো কম বা অসম্ভব এরকম ক্ষেত্রে "Let alone" ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- সাধারণত negative sentence -এর পরে  let alone ব্যবহার হয়।

- Bangla meaning: তুমি এমনভাবে হাসো যেন কিছুই হয়নি।

ক) that (conjunction হিসেবে noun clause- এর প্রারম্ভিকে)

- "as if" is used to describe a situation where someone's behavior suggests something that is not true or real.

- কোনো কিছু ভাবা যায় না বা চিন্তা করা যায় না বোঝাতে 'let alone' ব্যবহার হয়।

• Interjection:
- Interjections are those words which express the sudden feelings of the human mind.
- যে word দ্বারা মনের আকস্মিক আবেগ, অনুভূতি ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করা যায় তাকে Interjection বলে।

• Interjection ছাড়া অন্যান্য Parts of Speech ও কখনও কখনও বিশেষভাবে বব্যহার করা হলে Interjection এর কাজ করে।
- "Goodness" এর অর্থ সাধারণত noun, যার মানে "সাধুতা, সদাশয়তা, সততা; উৎকর্ষ"।
- কিন্তু এখানে এটি special usage এ interjection হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

- As though: যেন অর্থে as if/ as though ব্যবহৃত হয়। As though যুক্ত sentence এর প্রথম অংশ এর  verb টি Present indefinite হলে এর পরবর্তী অংশের verb টি হবে past indefinite form এ।
Structure: Subject+ verb(present form )+as if/as though+ subject+ verb (past indefinite form)
Example: He speaks as though he were mad.

- আবার As though যুক্ত sentence এর প্রথম অংশ এর  verb টি Past indefinite হলে এর পরবর্তী অংশের verb টি হবে past perfect form এ।
Structure: Subject+ verb(past form) +as if/as though + subject+ verb(past perfect )
Example: He acted as though he had known everything.

Other options:
ক) If: সাধারণত দুটি Clause বা দুটি sentence কে সংযুক্ত করতে 'IF' ব্যবহৃত হয় । ভবিষ্যত  সম্ভাব্য অবস্থা এবং তার ফলাফল বোঝাতে if ব্যাবহার করা হয়।
Example: Water boils if you heat it to 100 degree.

খ) Therefore: ২য় clause টি ১ম clause এর ফলাফল বোঝালে ২য় clause এর পূর্বে সে জন্য/ সে কারণে অর্থে so/therefore বসে।
He is going to work in England, therefore/so he is learning English.

ঘ) Unless: একটি সংযোজক অব্যয় বা Conjunction যা 'যদি না' অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
অর্থাৎ কোনো একটি শর্ত পূরণ না হলে অন্য কিছু ঘটবে অথবা ঘটবে না এমন বোঝাতে ব্যাবহৃত হয়।

• এখানে since মূলত Conjunction রূপে দুইটি Clause কে যুক্ত করেছে। 
- ১ম Clause: Ten years have passed
- ২য় clause: my father went to America
- যেহেতু since বাক্য দুটোকে যুক্ত করছে এবং সময় নির্দেশ করছে, এটি conjunction |

• সাধারণত Since দ্বারা দুটি Clause যুক্ত থাকলে এবং Since-এর আগের অংশ Present Indefinite/Present perfect tense হলে পরের অংশ Past Indefinite tense হয়।

- Bangla Meaning: এমন ঘটলে; এমতাবস্থায়; যদি এমন ঘটে।

- আবার, যদিও বা একই সময়ে অর্থে conjunction হিসেবে 'While' ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Example:
- I fell asleep while I was reading.
- I like tea, while my brother prefers coffee.
- While the movie was long, it was never boring.

• As well as:
- উপরন্তু; অধিকন্তু ইত্যাদি অর্থেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• Conjunction:
- যে Part of speech দুই বা ততোধিক Word, Phrase বা Clause এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে, তাকে Conjunction বলে।

• There are three basic types of conjunctions:
1. Coordinating Conjunction:
- যা সমমানের দুইটি word, phrase বা clause এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে।
- অর্থাৎ Coordinating Conjunctions সমান গুরুত্বসম্পন্ন দুটি word, phrase, বা clause যুক্ত করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: and, or, but, yet, so, nor, etc.

2. Subordinating Conjunction:
- যে Conjunction একটি clause এর শুরুতে বসে অন্য clause এর স্থান, কাল, ধরণ, মাত্রা, ইত্যাদি বুঝানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাকে Subordinating Conjunction বলে।
- অর্থাৎ, একটি clause অন্য clause-এর ওপর নির্ভরশীল হলে, সেখানে Subordinating Conjunction ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: how, if, lest, after, although, as, because, before, even if, even though, once, since, unless, until, when, where, while, etc.

3. Correlative Conjunction:
- পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত conjunction গুলোই হলো Correlative Conjunctions.
- অর্থাৎ, Correlative Conjunctions এগুলো সবসময় জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং একই ধরনের word বা phrase যুক্ত করে।
- যেমন: either…or, neither…nor, not only…but also, both…and, whether…or, as…as, ইত্যাদি।

• Complete sentence: The path was dark, yet I slowly found my way.
- Bangla meaning: সে অভিজ্ঞ ছিল না, তবুও সে সমস্যার সমাধান দক্ষতার সাথে করতে সক্ষম হলো।

• Yet (Conjunction)
- English Meaning: despite that; but at the same time; but nevertheless.
- Bangla Meaning: তৎসত্ত্বেও; একইসঙ্গে; যাই হোক।

• Yet এর ব্যবহার:
- Yet is used to add something that seems surprising because of what you have just said.

- 'যাতে, যেন' অর্থে উদ্দেশ্য বা purpose বোঝাতে Subordinating conjunction হিসেবে 'so that' ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- so that এর পর এমন একটি Clause বসে যা কোন একটি উদ্দেশ্য প্রকাশ করে।
- যেমন: Sit in the front row so that you may hear better.

Complete sentence: We rode the bus because it was cheaper.
-'Because' একটি সংযোজক (conjunction) হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয় যা একটি কারণ বা যুক্তিকে অন্য একটি প্রধান বাক্যাংশের সাথে যুক্ত করে।

• Because:
- দুটি clause এর মাঝে কারণ অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- এটি প্রধান বাক্যের সাথে নির্ভরশীল বাক্যকে যুক্ত করতে সাহায্য করে।
- Example: He could not go to school because he was ill.

Other options:
ক) and
- দুটি সমজাতীয় বিষয়কে যুক্ত করতে and Conjunction হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- He studied hard and passed the exam.

খ) But:
- দুটি বিপরীত বিষয়কে যুক্ত করতে but Conjunction হিসেবে বসাতে হয়।
- Example: He failed the test many times but he did not stop trying.
ঘ) Until: 
- যে পর্যন্ত না; যতক্ষণে না; না… পর্যন্ত অর্থে  দুটি clause কে যুক্ত করতে Until Conjunction হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Example: We played until it got dark.

-  Bangla meaning: তুমি যদি এখন আবেদন না করো, তাহলে সময়সীমা মিস করবে।

• Unless (conjunction):
- যদি না; (except if) অর্থে এটি শর্ত বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- এটি negative অর্থ প্রদান করে।
- The sentence expresses a condition that must be met to avoid the negative result.

• Structure: Unless + Subject + V₁, Subject + will + V₁.

অন্যদিকে,
ক) Provided/ provided that/ providing that.... (যদি)
- "Provided that" means "on the condition that" or "only if".
