- T.S. Eliot ছিলেন একজন প্রখ্যাত আমেরিকান কবি, নাট্যকার, এবং সাহিত্য সমালোচক, যিনি আধুনিক ইংরেজি সাহিত্যে তাঁর অভিনব রচনা এবং গুরত্বপূর্ণ চিন্তাধারার জন্য পরিচিত।
- Eliot -কে বিংশ শতাব্দীর অন্যতম শ্রেষ্ঠ সাহিত্যিক বিবেচেনা করা হয়।
- তিনি ১৯৪৮ সালে সাহিত্যে নোবেল পুরস্কার লাভ করেন।
- তিনি নোবেল পুরস্কার অর্জনকারী একজন কবি, যিনি আধুনিক কবিতার ধারায় নতুন দিগন্ত উন্মোচন করেছেন।

- T. S. Eliot (পূর্ণ নাম: Thomas Stearns Eliot) জন্মগ্রহণ করেন ২৬শে সেপ্টেম্বর, ১৮৮৮ সালে, Missouri, যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে। অর্থাৎ, তিনি জন্মসূত্রে একজন আমেরিকান ছিলেন।
- তিনি একাধারে  American-English poet, playwright, literary critic এবং editor.
- ১৯৬৫ সালের ৪ জানুয়ারি তিনি লন্ডনে মারা যান।
- Eliot কে বিংশ শতাব্দীর অন্যতম শ্রেষ্ঠ সাহিত্যিক বিবেচেনা করা হয়।
- তিনি ১৯৪৮ সালে সাহিত্যে নোবেল পুরস্কার লাভ করেন।
