- সঠিক বাক্যটি হচ্ছে - He insisted on moving the car.

- Insist on/upon/ Insist on doing something:
- To keep doing something, even if it annoys other people or people think it is not good for you.
- বাংলায়, কোনো কিছুতে জোর দেয়া বা পীড়াপীড়ি করা।
- Insist on/upon এর সাথে verb এর -ing form বসে।

যেমন:

তাই ২য় অংশটি হবে- Sub+ would/could/ might + have + Past Participle of the verb

কোনো sentence এ just, yet, already, lately ইত্যাদি থাকলে present perfect tense হবে।
structure: sub + have/has + verb এর pp + obj.
- I haven’t asked him yet (=but I will).
- Has Edmund arrived yet?
- Have you had your lunch yet?

• No sooner had, Hardly had, Scarcely had এবং As soon as সবগুলোই 'করতে না করতেই/ হতে না হতেই' অর্থে ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• নিয়মনুযায়ী, 
- No sooner had থাকলে পরের অংশে than (not then) ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Hardly had থাকলে পরের অংশে when (not than) ব্যবহার করা হয়;
Scarcely had থাকলে পরের অংশে when (not than) ব্যবহার করা হয়;
As soon as থাকলে পরের অংশে শুধু কমা (,) ব্যবহার করা হয়।

- Verb এর past participle + than বসে।
- 2nd clause এর subject বসে।
- Verb এর past form করতে হবে।

- Bangla meaning: তারা তাকে চেকের বদলে নগদে টাকা দিয়েছিল।

• In lieu of/ In stead of:
- In lieu of/ In stead of এর অর্থ পরিবর্তে।
- একটি জিনিস বা বিষয়ের পরিবর্তে অন্যটি নেওয়া বা পছন্দ বুঝাতে এ phrase দুটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- এ জাতীয় phrase simple sentence- এ বসে।

• বাক্যে Relative pronoun (who, whom, which, what, when, whose, how, that) থাকলে Antecedent (Relative pronoun এর পূর্বের   Noun/pronoun) অনুযায়ী verb বসে।
- তাই উপরের বাক্যে Antecedent 'he' থাকায় verb, 'is' বসবে।
- "who" এর পরের verb (is) subject অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তিত হয়।
- এখানে "he" হলো subject, তাই verb হবে "is". কারণ "he" সবসময় 'is' এর সঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

university শব্দের শুরুতে u-vowel থাকা সত্ত্বেও ‍article ‘an’ না বসে ‘a’ বসবে।
কারণ u-এর উচ্চারণ যদি ’ইউ’ এর মতো হয় তাহলে ‍article ‘an’ বসে না। উপরোল্লেখিত উদাহরণ university তে u এর উচ্চারণ ইউ হওয়ায় ‍an হবে না। বরং ‍a হবে।
আর নির্দিষ্ট না করায় ‍article ‘the’ ও হবে না। সুতরাং সঠিক উত্তর ‍(a)

• Owing to (কারণে / কারণে) → কারণ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- এখানে ডাকাতির সংখ্যা বেশি হওয়ায় পুলিশ রাস্তায় টহল শুরু করেছে
- তাই "owing to" সঠিক।

Other options:
ক) Correspondingly (অনুরূপভাবে) → সাদৃশ্য দেখাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, এখানে মানায় না।

খ) In other terms (অন্যভাবে বললে) → ব্যাখ্যা দেওয়ার সময় ব্যবহৃত হয়, এখানে প্রযোজ্য নয়।

ঘ) Alternatively (বিকল্পভাবে) → বিকল্প বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, এখানে মানায় না।

এক ঝাঁক পাখি বা একদল পশু বোঝাতে head ব্যবহৃত হলে head এর plural অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
সুতরাং, সঠিক expression হলো Ten head of cattle.

Bangla Meaning: সে সময়মতো অফিসে পৌঁছানোর জন্য সকালে উঠে।

- So that যুক্ত complex sentence-এ সাধারণত can, could, may, might বসে।
- যদি প্রথম clause present tense-এ থাকে, তাহলে so that এর পরে may/can বসে।
- যদি first clause past tense-এ থাকে, তাহলে might/could বসে।

- Modal (may) ব্যবহার নেই, যা grammar অনুযায়ী ভুল। 

• প্রদত্ত উল্লিখিত Sentence টি passive voice এ রয়েছে।

• শুধুমাত্র মূল verb দিয়ে শুরু করা Imparetive sentence এর Active voice কে Passive voice এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:

- অর্থাৎ, One of/Each of…+ plural noun + singular verb + ext.
- যেমন: Each of the athletes has been training for months, even years.

ক) are completed
- Passive voice present tense, কিন্তু এখানে active structure লাগবে।

গ) have completed
- 'have' Plural verb, "students" দেখে plural মনে হয়, কিন্তু "Each" singular, তাই have ব্যবহার হবে না।

ঘ) completed
- simple past tense; context অনুযায়ী present perfect বোঝাচ্ছে, তাই ভুল।

Correct sentence - গ) The mother, as well as her children, is watching the movie.

• As well as, with including, together with, except, in addition to, no less than, accompanied by, along with ইত্যাদি শব্দগুলো বাক্যে দুটি subject কে যুক্ত করলে প্রথম subject অনুসারে verb হয়।
- এখানে The mother → singular subject.
- তাই verb হবে is.

 → “mother” singular, কিন্তু verb “were” plural.

খ) The mother, as well as her children, are watching the movie.
 → “mother” singular, কিন্তু verb “are” plural.

ঘ) The mother, as well as her children, have watching the movie.
 → “have watching” grammatically ভুল।

• Complete sentence: It was the barest of welcomes, but it was a welcome nonetheless.
- Bangla meaning: অত্যন্ত স্বল্প আয়োজনে স্বাগত জানানো হলেও, তবু তা একরকমের স্বাগতই ছিল।

• Nonetheless/nevertheless (adverb), (conjunction)
- English Meaning: in spite of what has just been said: nevertheless.
- Bangla Meaning: তথাপি; তবু; তা সত্ত্বেও।

- Nonetheless একটা adverb যা contrast বা concession দেখায় – অর্থাৎ প্রথম অংশের সাথে বৈপরীত্য সত্ত্বেও দ্বিতীয় অংশ সত্য।

গ) Therefore (adverb)
- English Meaning: for that reason: because of that: consequently.
- Bangla Meaning: সেই কারণে; সুতরাং।

- এটা cause-effect দেখাতে (কারণে-ফলে) ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: We were unable to get funding and therefore had to abandon the project.

ঘ) Whichever (Adjective), (pronoun)
- English Meaning: being whatever one or ones out of a group: no matter which.
- Bangla Meaning: (১) যে-ই, যেটাই: (২) যে-ই/যেটাই হোক না কেন।

- Used to say that among various possibilities, there is no important difference or that you are free to choose the one you like.
- এটা choice বা alternative দেখাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: Take whichever you like best.

বাক্যটি দুটি বিপরীত ভাব প্রকাশ করছে - He was tired (সে ক্লান্ত ছিল) এবং he continued working (সে কাজ চালিয়ে গেল)।
- যখন দুটি বাক্যের মধ্যে বিরোধ বা contrast থাকে, তখন but ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- But সংযোগকারী (coordinating conjunction) যা বিপরীত অর্থের দুটি clause-কে যুক্ত করে।

• Subject-Verb Agreement অনুযায়ী,
- One of, Any of, Each of, Either of, Neither of বাক্যের subject হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হলে verb টি singular হবে।
- অর্থাৎ, One of/Each of ইত্যাদির পরে plural noun + singular verb বসে।
- কারণ Each দ্বারা প্রত্যেককেই আলাদা আলাদাভাবে বুঝানো হয়।
- আবার, এখানে regularly (regularly: habitual action) থাকায় Simple Present Tense হবে।
- তাই সঠিক উত্তর হবে- attends.

- Structure: One of/Each of…+ plural noun + singular verb + ext.
- যেমন: Each of the girls attends the class regularly.

- বাক্যের প্রথম অংশ 'না-সূচক' হলে Agreement অংশে neither, nor, either, ইত্যাদি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- 'neither/nor' auxiliary verb-এর পূর্বে এবং 'either' auxiliary verb-এর পরে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• Negative বাক্যের ক্ষেত্রে agreement এর structure:
• Rule-1: Sub + negative verb + + and + neither/nor + auxiliary verb (tense অনুযায়ী) + sub.
- Example sentence: I did not know the answer and neither/nor did he.

- Rule-2: Sub + negative verb + + and + sub + auxiliary verb (tense অনুযায়ী) + not + either.
- Example sentence: I did not know the answer and he did not either.

• Auxiliary verb টি সর্বদাই প্রথম verb এর tense অনুসারে হবে।
- সাধারণত verb এর repittion এড়ানোর জন্য, বিশেষভাবে short responses with pronoun, subjects এর ক্ষেত্রে এই নিয়মটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।

অন্যদিকে,
ক) 'so did I' ব্যবহৃত হয় positive agreement এর জন্য (She remembered, and so did I).

খ) 'neither do I' main clause past tense -এ তাই auxiliary verb হিসেবে did ব্যবহৃত হবে।

ঘ) 'not either I' ভুল order, সঠিক হবে- I did not either.

বাক্যে ভবিষ্যৎ সময় জ্ঞাপক শব্দ by the time দ্বারা যখন দুটি clause যুক্ত থাকে তখন By the time এর পরে present perfect এবং অপর অংশে future indefinite/perfect/perfect continuous tense হয়।

- Only after, only if, only in this way, not until etc. বাক্যের এর শুরুতে বসলে ২য় Clause এ Auxiliary Verb, Subject এর আগে বসে। তাছাড়া, Past tense এর সাথে After ব্যবহৃত হলে, 'after' এর পর Past Perfect হলেও, 'Only after' এর পর Past Indefinite Tense হতে পারে।

- "While" এর পরে সরাসরি verb এলে তাকে verb + ing (present participle) রূপে ব্যবহার করতে হয়।

- সেক্ষেত্রে verb phrase-টি একটি modifier হিসেবে কাজ করে (যেমন: while crossing the road).

- Option খ-তে "While crossing the road" সঠিকভাবে participle phrase হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

Other options:
ক) While he walked in the park, he saw a dog.
- এখানে simple past "walked" ব্যবহার হয়েছে, যা while-এর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী সঠিক নয়।

গ) While he walking in the park, he saw a dog
- "he walking" একটি ভুল গঠন, "was walking" হওয়া উচিত ছিল।কারন while এর পর subject থাকলে while এর পরের অংশটি past continuous tense হয়।

ঘ) While was crossing the road, he saw a dog.
- এখানে subject "he" অনুপস্থিত, তাই বাক্যটি অসম্পূর্ণ।
