পর পর দুটি verb থাকলে শেষের verb-টির সাথে ing / to+verb / participle হয়।

• Structure:
Many of + plural countable noun:
- Many of them know magic.
Much of + uncountable noun.
- Much of the food is stale.

• দুটি clause-কে যুক্ত করার জন্য, যদি conjunction হিসেবে since ব্যবহার করা হয় এবং since-এর পূর্ববর্তী clause-এর verb টি যদি present/present perfect tense হয়, তবে since-এর পরবর্তী clause-এর verb টি simple past tense হবে।

• অন্যদিকে, since-এর পূর্ববর্তী clause-এর verb যদি past simple tense হয়, তবে পরবর্তী clause-এর verb হবে কেবল past perfect tense.

• যেহেতু প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যে since এর পূর্বের অংশ Past Indefinite Tense এ আছে, তাই এরপরের অংশ হবে  Past Perfect Tense.
