- until - যে পর্যন্ত না; যতক্ষণে না; না… পর্যন্ত।

Connive at: 
English Meaning - To allow something bad to happen although you know about it. 
Bangla Meaning - চোখ বুজে থাকা; দেখেও না-দেখার ভান করা; প্রতিবাদ করা উচিত জেনেও প্রতিবাদ না-করা; উপেক্ষা করা (এমনভাবে, যাতে নীরব সম্মতিই প্রকটিত হয়)।

Example Sentence:
- She had murdered or connived at the murder of one of her lovers.

- সাধারণত comparative form এর পূর্বে The বসে না।
- তবে Double comparative বা বাংলা বাক্যে, যত ---- তত বা আনুপাতিক হ্রাস-বৃদ্ধি বুঝাতে দুইটি adverb comparative এর প্রত্যেকটির পূর্বে the বসে।

• Subject-Verb Agreement অনুযায়ী,
- Subject -এর সাথে preposition দিয়ে যে শব্দ বা শব্দসমষ্টি যুক্ত থাকে তারা কখনোই verb -এর উপর কোনো প্রভাব ফেলে না।
- তাই সাধারণত preposition/ prepositional phrase -এর পূর্বের subject অনুসারে verb বসে।
- অর্থাৎ, preposition/ prepositional phrase -এর পূর্বের subject টি plural হলে verb টি plural হবে এবং subject টি singular হলে verb টি singular হবে।

এই বাক্যে Parallelism বা সমান্তরাল গঠন মেনে চলতে হবে।

• Parallelism:
- Parallelism in grammar is defined as two or more phrases or clauses in a sentence that have the same grammatical structure.

• Parallelism এর নিয়ম অনুসারে শব্দের ধারাবাহিকতা বজায় রাখতে হয়।
- এই নিয়মানুসারে and এর পূর্বে gerund থাকলে and এর পরেও gerund বসে।

বিকল্পগুলো বিশ্লেষণ:
ক) Heavy smoking and to overeat:
-  ভুল: "smoking" (gerund) + "to overeat" (infinitive) - ভিন্ন গঠন। Parallelism বা সমান্তরাল গঠন মেনে চলেনি।

খ) Smoking heavily and to overeat:
-  ভুল: "smoking" (gerund) + "to overeat" (infinitive) - ভিন্ন গঠন। Parallelism বা সমান্তরাল গঠন মেনে চলেনি।

গ) To smoke heavily and overeating:
- ভুল: "to smoke" (infinitive) + "overeating" (gerund) - ভিন্ন গঠন। Parallelism বা সমান্তরাল গঠন মেনে চলেনি।

No sooner had …. than থাকলে বাক্যের ১ম অংশে Verb এর Past Participle form এবং পরের অংশে verb এর past form হয়। 
যেমনঃ
- No sooner had he seen the police than he left the place.
- No sooner had we started out for the stadium than it started to rain.
- No sooner had he graduated than he got a job.

Correct sentence: All the students have gone there.
- Sentence এর subject "All the students" Plural number.
- Plural subject এর সাথে Plural verb form বসে।
- Subject-Verb Agreement অনুযায়ী verb "have gone" Plural subject এর সাথে agree করে।

Other Options:

খ) All the students has gone there.
- Plural subject এর সাথে Plural verb form বসে।
- এখানে "has" এর পরিবর্তে "have" থাকলে বাক্যটি সঠিক হতো।
- তাই বাক্যটি ভুল।

গ) All the students have went there.
- have এর পর মূল Verb এর past participle form বসে। এখানে past form ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।
- তাই বাক্যটি ভুল।

ঘ) All the student have gone there.
- এখানে Determiner 'All the' এর পরবর্তী Noun/ pronoun  টি plural বসে।
- তাই এখানে student না হয়ে students হবে।

- "Hardly" নিজেই একটি negative অর্থবাচক শব্দ, তাই এর পরে "no" ব্যবহার করা যাবে না।

খ) Several books were donated to the library.
- এখানে Several (কিছু সংখ্যক) সঠিক determiner, যা plural countable noun "books" কে determine করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

গ) They raised many questions at the end of the lecture.
- Many সঠিক determiner, যা countable noun "questions" কে determine করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

ঘ) He has a little knowledge about the topic.
- A little সঠিক determiner, যা uncountable noun "knowledge" -কে determine করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

• Complete sentence: There have been some changes recently.
- Bangla meaning: সাম্প্রতিক কালে কিছু পরিবর্তন হয়েছে।

- "There" দিয়ে শুরু হওয়া বাক্যে existential structure ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেখানে subject হলো মূলত পরের noun বা noun phrase.
-  Here/There দিয়ে কোনো বাক্য শুরু হলে তার পরের noun/pronoun অনুযায়ী verb বসে।
- Subject এখানে 'some changes' - যা plural countable noun, তাই verb টিও plural হবে।
- আবার, এখানে 'recently' থাকায় বাক্যটি Present Perfect Tense নির্দেশ করছে।
- Plural subject-এর সঙ্গে Present Perfect -এ verb হিসেবে 'have been' (passive) ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Structure:
- Here/There + singular verb + singular subject.
- Here/There + plural verb + plural subject.

- Period of time অর্থাৎ সময়ের ব্যাপ্তি বোঝাতে "For" preposition টি  ব্যবহৃত হয়। 

• For এর ব্যবহার:
- 'For' ব্যবহার হয় সময়ের ব্যাপ্তি (period of time) বোঝাতে।
- একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় ধরে (duration) বোঝাতে।
- কতক্ষণ" বা "কতদিন" ধরে বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়।
- She has worked here for five years. 

• Since এর ব্যবহার:
- Point of time এর পূর্বে since বসে।
- Point of time হচ্ছে সেই সময়কাল যাকে এক, দুই, তিন ইত্যাদি গণনার একক দ্বারা গণনা করা যায় এবং কোনো মুহূর্ত বা সময়কে নির্দেশ করে।
- কোনো কাজ যে নির্দিষ্ট সময় থেকে শুরু হয়েছে এবং এখনও চলছে, তা বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়।

Causative Verb:
- যে verb দ্বারা অপর কারো কোনো কাজ করার কারণ ঘটানো বুঝায় তাকে বলে Causative Verb. 
- Make, have, get প্রভৃতি যোগে অনেক verb- কে causative verb এ পরিণত করা যায়। 
- Sentence এ 'make' থাকলে তার পরের verb এর সবসময় base form বসে।

• The Number of + Plural Noun + Singular Verb হয়।
- যেমন -

- With, together with, along with, as well as, in addition to, accompanied with/ by, and not, including, excluding, but, except, ইত্যাদি দ্বারা কোনো noun বা pronoun যুক্ত হলে, verb সর্বদা প্রথম subject (noun/pronoun) অনুযায়ী হবে।
- অর্থাৎ, প্রথম noun/pronoun টি singular হলে verb টি singular হবে।
- আবার প্রথম noun/ pronoun টি plural হলে verb টি plural হবে।
