Point of time হচ্ছে সেই সময়কাল যাকে এক, দুই, তিন ইত্যাদি গণনার একক দ্বারা গণনা করা যায় বরং কোনো মুহূর্ত বা সময়কে নির্দেশ করে।
যেমন- গত সোমবার, গত সপ্তাহ/মাস/বছর, তিনটা, সাড়ে তিনটা ইত্যাদি।
যেমন- I have been living in Dhaka since 2007.
I have been waiting since half past three.
কোন বাক্যের Subject যদি one of, each of, every of, one third of হয়, তবে এগুলাের পরে plural noun / pronoun বসে কিন্তু এর পর verb-টি সবসময় singular হয়।
অতএব, শূন্যস্থানে One of the problems হবে।

- চাওয়া বা ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করতে sub-ordinate clause -এ verb এর Base form ব্যবহারের রীতিই হলো Present Subjunctive.
