• Third Condition এর নিয়ম অনুসারে:
- If বা Had যুক্ত দুটি clause থাকে। 
- দুটি clause এর যেকোন একটিতে If/ had দিয়ে clause টি শুরু হবে।
- If বা Had যুক্ত clause টি Past Perfect Tense হয়। 
- ২য় clause টি Past perfect Conditional (would have, might have, should have, could have) বসে।
- Verb এর Past Participle form বসে।

• সাধারণত ভগ্নাংশের ক্ষেত্রে প্রথমটি One এর বেশি হলে দ্বিতীয়টির সঙ্গে 's' যোগ হয় (যেমন- Two-thirds).

• Subject-Verb Agreement অনুযায়ী,
- Subject -এর সাথে Preposition দিয়ে যে শব্দ বা শব্দসমষ্টি যুক্ত থাকে তারা কখনোই verb -এর উপর কোনো প্রভাব ফেলে না।
- তাই সাধারণত preposition/ prepositional phrase -এর পূর্বের subject অনুসারে verb বসে।
- অর্থাৎ, preposition/ prepositional phrase -এর পূর্বের subject টি plural হলে verb টি plural হবে এবং subject টি singular হলে verb টি singular হবে।

উত্তর হবে other, the other.
- ৩টা plural এর মধ্যে ধারাবাহিকতা বোঝাতে some...other...the other/the rest of বসে।
- সুতরাং উত্তর হবে some players are playing other players are gossiping the others players are eating.
- যেহেতু noun গুলো plural সেহেতু another বসবে না তাই Other,another এবং another, the others অপশন সঠিক নয়।
- noun (players) আছে তাই others হবে না।
- Note:যদি শুধুমাত্র প্রথমটির(some) সাথে noun থাকে এবং পরের গুলোর সাথে(noun) না থাকে তাহলে some….others….the others/the rest বসে।

• Had better এর ক্ষেত্রে:
- Had better অর্থ তবুও/বরং ভালো।
- Had better যুক্ত sentence past tense এর হলেও তা মূলত past tense নয়।
- Had better- unreal past ইহা present/ future tense এর অর্থ প্রকাশ করে
- Had better এর পর infinitive to বসে না।
- সর্বদা verb এর base form বসে।

- She had better apologize for her behavior.

• Correct Sentence: Everyone considered her capable of solving complex problems quickly.

• Capable of (doing something):
English meaning: having the ability, power, or qualities to be able to do something.
Bangla meaning: সক্ষম।

Example: 
- They considered her capable of making important decisions for the team.
- Even at a young age, her parents considered her capable of achieving great things.

- কোন কিছুর জন্য সক্ষম অর্থে Capable এর সাথে of বসে।

- Musical instrument এর পূর্বে সাধারণত the ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- তবে play on এর পর the ব্যবহৃত হয় না।

 → grammatically ভুল, কারণ “caused” হলো past participle; এখানে noun বা proper verb phrase দরকার।

• No sooner had, Hardly had, Scarcely had এবং As soon as সবগুলোই 'করতে না করতেই/ হতে না হতেই' অর্থে ব্যবহার করা হয়।

- Verb এর past participle + than বসে।
- 2nd clause এর subject বসে।
- Verb এর past form করতে হবে।
 
• Correct Sentence: No sooner had the show begun than the lights went out.

- প্রদত্ত Sentence এর প্রথম clause টি No sooner had দ্বারা শুরু হয়েছে তাই তার পরের clause টি than দিয়ে শুরু হবে।
- 2nd clause এর subject (the lights) হয়েছে।
- Verb (go) এর past form (went) হয়েছে।
- তাই, এখানে than the lights went out সঠিক।

- Bridegroom মানে বর (পুরুষ), আর Bride মানে কনে (মহিলা)। Bridegroom এর সাথে Bride থাকবে। তারা একত্রে অতিথিদের "Hall" এ আপ্যায়ন করেছিল।

- ভুল, কারণ কনে (bride) হলে তার husband থাকবে, wife নয়।

- ভুল, কারণ Bridegroom-এর স্ত্রী হয় wife, husband নয়।

গ) The bride and bridegroom received his guests in the great hall.
- যেহেতু bride and bridegroom বাক্যের Subject এবং এরা plural তাই এদের Pronoun ও হবে Plural.

• Subject-Verb Agreement অনুযায়ী,
- Along with, together with, as well as, including, addition to, accompanied by ইত্যাদি দ্বারা দুইটি subject যুক্ত হলে verb হবে প্রথম subject অনুযায়ী।
- এখানে 'He' এবং 'his colleagues' - as well as দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়েছে।
- প্রথম subject 'He' হলো singular তাই verb টি singular (is) হবে।

Example Sentences:
- My mother, as well as my father, likes gardening.
- Ali, as well as his colleagues, is attending the conference.

Other options:
ক) are - এটা plural verb, কিন্তু subject "He" singular বলে singular verb দরকার।

গ) were - এটা plural verb, কিন্তু subject "He" singular বলে singular verb দরকার।

ঘ) can - একটি modal verb, কিন্তু এখানে Present Continuous tense (is spending) দরকার।

শুদ্ধ বাক্য-
- It is a nice poem.
- There is no place on the bench.
- I got two pieces of bread.
- I went home.

​ক) Prolix:
​- (আনুষ্ঠানিক) (বক্তা, লেখক, বক্তৃতা ইত্যাদি সম্বন্ধে) অতিবিস্তার হেতু বিরক্তিকর; ক্লান্তিকর; অতিবিস্তৃত/ বিরক্তিকরভাবে দীর্ঘ; দীর্ঘাচারী; বর্ণনামূলকভাবে অত্যধিক দীর্ঘ।

Forbid এর পরে from এবং to দুইটাই বসতে পারে। তবে অনেক ক্ষেত্রে দেখা গেছে, যেতে নিষেধ করা অর্থে forbid to go ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

Her mother forbids her to go.

Forbid + from + verb+ing
He is forbidden from leaving the country.

- Preposition (for, with, to, etc.) এর পরে objective case pronoun (me, him, her, us, them) ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
- এখানে “for” preposition, তাই me সঠিক, I সঠিক নয়।

Option খ: The presents are for you and I. ভুল।
- “I” subjective case → preposition এর পরে বসে না।

Option গ: The presents are for me and you.  ভুল।
- যদিও pronoun সঠিক, তবে politeness rule অনুযায়ী “you and me” ব্যবহার হয়, “me and you” নয়।

Option ঘ: The presents are for I and we.  ভুল।
- “I” এবং “we” দুটোই subjective case → preposition এর পরে ব্যবহার হয় না।

- A number of এর সাথে plural noun এবং plural verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- এখানে tourists (plural noun) এবং have (plural verb) ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, যা সঠিক গঠন।

• A number of/ A large number of/ A small number of/ a great number of যুক্ত বাক্যের গঠন হচ্ছে -
• Structure: A number of/ A large number of/ A small number of/ a great number of + plural Noun + plural verb.
- যেহেতু প্রশ্নে উল্লিখিত বাক্যে A large number of আছে তাই এরপর plural noun employees এবং plural verb have হয়েছে।

• অন্যদিকে,
• The Number of + Plural Noun + Singular Verb.
• A little number of/ The little number of + singular noun + singular verb.
