 যে সকল Noun দ্বারা সমজাতীয় কিছু ব্যক্তি, বস্তুর সমষ্টিকে বোঝায় তাদেরকে Collective Noun বলে।
- অর্থাৎ কিছু Common Noun এর সমষ্টিকেই collective noun বলে। যেমন-

A Collective noun (সমষ্টিবাচক বিশেষ্য) in the name of a number (or collection) of persons or things taken together and spoken of a one whole; as crowd, mob, team, flock, herd, army, fleet, jury, family, nation, parliament, committee.

Abuse, Athletics, Bread, Darts, Economics, Ethics, Expenditure, Furniture, Machinery, Mathematics, News, Optics, Physics, Poetry, Politics, Scenery, Gallows etc. are always singular nouns.
Wages, Aristocracy, Artillery, Cattle, People, Peasantry, Public, Vegetables etc. are always plural nouns.

 • Noun: 
- Noun বা বিশেষ্য হচ্ছে কোন কিছুর নাম, যা ব্যক্তি, স্থান, বস্তু, ঘটনা, বা ধারণাকে প্রকাশ করে।

• Collective noun:
- যে Noun একজাতীয় ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু ইত্যাদি অবিভক্ত সমষ্টিকে বুঝায় তাকে Collective Noun বলে।
- এখানে "Flock" দ্বারা পাখির দলকে বুঝানো হয়েছে।
- তাই "Flock" হচ্ছে Collective Noun.

• উল্লিখিত বাকি অপশনগুলো, 
• যে Noun কোনো নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি, স্থান বা বস্তু প্রকাশ করে Proper Noun বলে।
- Proper Noun এর প্রথম অক্ষর সব সময় Capital Letter হয়। Example: Karim, Dhaka, etc.

• যে Noun কোন এ শ্রেণীর ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর প্রত্যেকের সাধারণ নাম বুঝায় তাকে Common Noun বলে।

Information
- It is a mass noun/uncountable noun; therefore, it does not have a plural form.
- So, it remains singular always. 

এরকম, আরো কিছু হল uncountable noun:

• Complete sentence: You like more sugar in your tea than I do.
- Bangla meaning: তুমি আমার চেয়ে চায়ে চিনি বেশি পছন্দ করো।

- প্রদত্ত বাক্যে, "than" ব্যবহার করে তুলনা বুঝানো হয়েছে।
- তাই, এখানে comparative form ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

• Given options:
ক) most হলো 'much' এবং 'more' এর superlative form.

খ) more হলো 'much' এবং 'many' এর comparative form যা countable এবং uncountable উভয় noun -এর পূর্বে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

গ) many হলো positive form যা countable noun -এর পূর্বে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

ঘ) much হলো positive form যা uncountable noun -এর পূর্বে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- সুতরাং, অপশন বিবেচনা করে বুঝা যাচ্ছে যে, শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে- খ) more.

In 1st sentence, 'but' is a pronoun.

ব্যাখ্যা:

Correct Answer: ক) Mare

• Stallion একটি Masculine gender এর অর্থ: পুরুষ ঘোড়া (বিশেষ করে প্রজননক্ষম পূর্ণবয়স্ক ঘোড়া)।
- এর Feminine gender হলো Mare  এর অর্থ: স্ত্রী ঘোড়া বা ঘোড়ী।

- সেক্ষেত্রে বাক্যে argue, debate, division, separation, unable to agree, split ইত্যাদি উল্লেখ থাকে।
- Jury অর্থ বিচারকমণ্ডলী এবং এটি একটি collective noun.
- Collective noun হচ্ছে অবিভক্ত সমষ্টি এবং এর verb এবং pronoun দুটোই singular হয়ে থাকে।

• গ) বাক্য The jury was unable to agree on the evidence presented in the case এবং The jury was split into agreeing on the evidence presented in the case. - বাক্যদ্বয়ের মধ্যে  unable to agree এবং split into agreeing থাকায় বুঝা যাচ্ছে, এখানে Jury দলের মধ্যে মতানৈক্য সৃষ্টি হয়েছে এবং বিভাজিত সমষ্টিকে নির্দেশ করছে, তাই এখানে, verb হবে plural.

How a man can become so magnanimous, understand- verb এর object হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
transitive verb এর object হিসাবে noun clause ব্যবহৃত হয়।
টেকনিক: যদি Clause টির পরিবর্তে it বসিয়ে বাক্য পরিপূর্ণ sense create করে, তবে সেটা noun clause হবে.
যেমন- I don’t understand it.

- যে Noun দ্বারা একই সাথে পুংবাচক বা স্ত্রীবাচক উভয়কেই বুঝায় তাকে Common Gender বলা হয়।
- যেমন: Parent, Child, Baby, Cousin, Student, Orphan, Monarch, Friend, etc.

- "Mount Blanc" দ্বারা একটি মাত্র পাহাড়কে নির্দেশ করছে, তাই এর পূর্বে কোনো article বসবে না।
