Positive Sentence: The monument is not so tall as the skyscraper.

• Than যুক্ত comparative sentence কে positive করার নিয়ম: 
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর than এর পরের অংশ প্রথমে বসে। 
- এরপরে verb বসে। 
- 'verb' এর পর not বসে। 
- 'not' এর পর so বসে। 
- 'so' এর পর comparative degree এর positive form বসে। 
- 'positive form' এর পর as বসে। 
- 'as' এর পর প্রদত্ত sentence এর প্রথম subject বসে। 

• Affirmative sentence - এর positive degree - তে ‘as...as’ এবং negative sentence - এ `so...as’ ব্যবহৃত হয়।

than-যুক্ত comparative degree-কে positive degree-তে রূপান্তরের সময় নিচের নিয়মটি প্রয়োগ করতে হয়ঃ
i) প্রদত্ত sentence-এর than-এর পরের অংশ প্রথমে বসে। ii) Verb বসে + iii) মূল sentenceটি affirmative হলে not বসে; কিন্তু মূল sentence negative হলে not উঠে যায়। + iv) so বসে + v) Comparative degree-এর Positive form বসে। + vi) as + vii) প্রদত্ত sentence-এর প্রথম subject বসে।

• No less/not less_________ than যুক্ত Comparative degree কে Positive Degree তে রূপান্তরের উপায়:
- No less/ Not less এর পরিবর্তে উক্ত জায়গায় as বসে,
- এবং than এর পরিবর্তে উক্ত জায়গায় as বসে।
- এছাড়া প্রদত্ত sentence এর আর কোনো পরিবর্তন হয়না।
- Comparative: The work is no less important than the study. 
- Positive: The study is as important as the work.

• No less/ Not less এর পরিবর্তে যদি শুধুমাত্র less ........ than থাকলে সেক্ষেত্রে less এর পরিবর্তে উক্ত জায়গায় not as এবং than এর পরিবর্তে উক্ত জায়গায় as বসে। এছাড়া প্রদত্ত sentence এর আর কোনো পরিবর্তন হয়না। যেমন:

Comparative / Superlative কে Positive করতে হলে চারটি কাজ করতে হয়:
1. Subject- Object হয়, Object - Subject হয়।
2. Affirmative - Negative হয়, Negative Affirmative হয়।
3. Degree change হয়।
4. Indicator (the/ than --> so...as, as...as) Change হয়।

Structure: One of the ছাড়া শুধু Superlative Degree থাকলে -
No other + Object – Subject হয়ে বসবে + Verb + as/ so + Positive Degree + as + Subject- Object এর জায়গায় বসবে।

◉ Shakespeare is the greatest of all dramatists.— Sentence টি superlative form এ আছে। 
এর সঠিক positive form হচ্ছে - No other dramatist is so great as Shakespeare.

Superlative degree কে positive degree তে রূপান্তরের নিয়ম: 
- প্রথমে No other বসে + 
- প্রদত্ত Superlative এর পরের অংশ বসে + 
- Verb বসে + 
- so বসে +

• 'than most other' যুক্ত Comparative বাক্যকে Positive করার নিয়ম:
- প্রথমে Very few বসবে,
- তারপর Comparative degree এর পর যে Noun/Pronoun রয়েছে তা বসবে,

- তারপর as + Positive Adjective + as,
- শেষে Comparative sentence এর Subject বসবে।

- এটি Superlative degree এর বাক্য হওয়ায় প্রশ্নানুসারে এটি সঠিক নয়।

Rule: One of the + Superlative → Positive.
- যদি বাক্যে one of the + superlative degree থাকে, সেটিকে Positive Degree-তে রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম হলো:
- Very few বসাতে হবে।
- Superlative degree-এর noun অংশ plural করতে হবে।
- Verb plural form হবে (are)।

অর্থাৎ যদি কোনো বাক্যে one of the + superlative degree ব্যবহৃত হয়, সেটিকে Positive Degree-তে রূপান্তর করার জন্য প্রথমে বাক্যের শুরুতে Very few বসাতে হয়। এরপর Superlative Degree-এর noun অংশকে plural করতে হয় এবং verb-কে plural form (are) দিতে হয়। তারপর adjective-এর Positive form ব্যবহার করে as … as গঠন তৈরি করতে হয়। সবশেষে মূল বাক্যের subject বসানো হয়।

Comparative / Superlative কে Positive করতে হলে চারটি কাজ করতে হয়:
1. Subject- Predicate হয়, Predicate - Subject হয়
2. Affirmative -Negative হয়, Negative Affirmative হয়
3. Degree change হয়
