Preposition, Conjunction and Interjection

বাক্যের অর্থ: আমি এই বিষয়ে রহিম সাহেবের সাথে একমত হলাম।
Consent শব্দটি একমত হওয়া বুঝাতে ব্যবহার করা হয়। যার সাথে একমত হওয়া যায়, তার আগে with বসে। যে বিষয়ে একমত হওয়া যায় তার আগে about বসে।

• After শব্দটি preposition, conjunction, adjective এবং adverb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়া একটি শব্দ।

• after শব্দটি conjunction হিসেবে যখন ব্যবহার হয়, তখন এর পরে একটি clause (Subject + finite verb) বসে;
- after যখন preposition হিসেবে ব্যবহার হয়, তখন এর পরে একটি noun/noun phrase অথবা verb+ing বসে।

• আলোচ্য প্রশ্নে We left the theatre after the movie had finished.’ বাক্যটিতে after এর পরে একটি clause বসেছে।
- অতএব, এখানে ‘after’ conjunction.

• After dinner, Akash left for home - এই বাক্যে ‘after’ preposition এর কাজ করছে।
- এখানে After শব্দটি dinner - noun এর পূর্বে বসে বাক্যের অন্য শব্দের সাথে এর সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করেছে তাই এখানে after একটি Preposition.

• They arrived soon after - বাক্যে after হচ্ছে preposition.
- কোনো preposition যদি বাক্যের শেষে বসে তবে তা adverb এর পরিণত হয়।

- অর্থাৎ, ঠিক সময়ের পূর্বেই কোথাও আসা/যাওয়া অর্থে  'in time'  ব্যবহার হয়।

• Conjunction:
- যে Part of speech দুই বা ততোধিক Word, Phrase বা Clause এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে, তাকে Conjunction বলে।
- A conjunction is a part of speech that connects two or more words, phrases, clauses, or sentences.

• There are two basic types of Conjunctions:
01. Coordinating conjunctions:
- যা সমশ্রেণীর দুইটি clause কে যুক্ত করে তাকে Coordinating conjunctions বলে।
- Example: both --- and, either --- or, but, yet, therefore, etc.

• Coordinating Conjunction কে চার ভাগে ভাগ করা যায়:
1. Cumulative or Copulative conjunctions.
2. Alternative or Disjunctive Conjunctions.

02. Subordinating Conjunctions:
