- Determiner হলো এমন একটি শব্দ যা noun-এর আগে বসে এবং noun-এর নির্দিষ্টতা বা পরিমাণ দেখায়।
- এখানে every হলো determiner, কারণ এটি mistake এর পরিমাণ বা coverage বোঝাচ্ছে।

• Determiner:
- এর প্রধান কাজ Noun/ Pronoun কে Determine করা।
- Noun/ Pronoun এর নির্দিষ্টতা-অনির্দিষ্টতা বুঝাতে এটি ব্যবহার হয়
- তবে তা Noun কে আংশিক কিংবা পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে modify করলেও, modify করা এটির প্রধান কাজ নয়।

• General Ordinals:
- last, next, other, the other, etc.

• Interrogative Determiners:
- which, what, whose.

• A, An & The কে article বলে।
Article দুই প্রকার।
যেমন:
1. Indefinite: A, An.
2. Definite: The.
Article সাধারণত noun কে qualify করে।

Article এর নিয়মানুযায়ী শব্দের শুরুতে যদি vowel থাকে এবং তা যদি ইউ (U) এর মত উচ্চারিত হয় তাহলে vowel থাকা সত্ত্বেও তার পূর্বে a বসে।
যেমন: a ewe, a European, a uniform etc.

Complete sentence: He met a European tourist at the museum.

• Correct answer: You are a Tagore in poetry, I see.

• সাধারণত কোন ব্যক্তির নাম Proper noun হয় এবং এর পূর্বে কোনো article বসে না।
- কিন্তু, কখনো কখনো a/ an, 'one like' বা এর মত একজন অর্থে Proper noun এর পূর্বে article (a/ an) বসে।

- প্রদত্ত বাক্যে Tagore বলতে শুধু একজন ব্যক্তিকেই বুঝাচ্ছে না, বরং Tagore এর মত কাউকে বুঝাচ্ছে।
- তাই এখানে 'Tagore' হচ্ছে Common Noun.
- Proper Noun যখন Common Noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়, তখন তার 'পূর্বে a/ an/ the ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- You are a Hitler, I see.

• A few + Countable Noun হয়।
- যেহেতু 'dollar' countable noun তাই এর পূর্বে a few বসবে এবং যেহেতু কিছু সংখ্যক নির্দেশ করছে তাই dollars হবে। 

• সঠিক বাক্যটি হবে - Can you lend me a few dollars for the bus fare?

• little, a little, a few, few এর ব্যবহার: 
- এগুলো হচ্ছে quantifier determiners.
- এগুলো দ্বারা কোনো কিছুর পরিমান, সংখ্যা এগুলোকে নির্দেশ করা হয়।
- Little, a little বসে uncountable noun এর ক্ষেত্রে এবং a few, few বসে countable noun এর ক্ষেত্রে।
- Little এবং few, negative অর্থে ব্যবহৃত quantifier determiners, যাদের অর্থ অল্প সংখ্যক বা নেই বললেই চলে। 

• A little, a few, affirmative অর্থে ব্যবহৃত quantifier determiners, যাদের অর্থ কিছু সংখ্যক বা অল্প পরিমান।
Few - নেই বললেই চলে।
A few - সামান্য পরিমাণে/ কয়েকটি।
Fewer dollars এখানে ভুল হবে কারণ "fewer" শুধুমাত্র তখন ব্যবহার করা হয় যখন কোনো দুটি বা বেশি পরিমাণের তুলনা করা হয়।

অপশনগুলো বিশ্লেষণ করি:

ক) fewer dollars → ভুল। "Fewer" ব্যবহার হয় শুধু countable noun-এর সাথে তুলনামূলক অর্থে (যেমন fewer than ten dollars)। এখানে সাধারণ অনুরোধ, তাই "a few" সঠিক।

খ) a little dollars → ভুল। "A little" ব্যবহার হয় uncountable noun-এর সাথে (যেমন a little money/water)। "Dollars" countable, তাই "a little dollars" গ্রামাটিক্যালি ভুল।

গ) little dollars → ভুল। "Little" মানে প্রায় কিছুই না (negative sense), এবং এটিও uncountable-এর সাথে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• কখনো কখনো preposition অর্থে 'a' ব্যবহৃত হয়, তখন সেই 'a' কে disguised preposition বলে।
- বাক্যটিতে went on hunting এর পরিবর্তে a hunting ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
- অর্থাৎ, বাক্যটির on রূপে a ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
- এ জাতীয় আরো উদাহরণ হলো:
- It set me a (on) thinking.
- He get 50tk a month.

• Note:
- Disguised Preposition: যদি preposition এর পরিবর্তে ‘a/o’ ব্যবহৃত হয় তখন তাদেরকে Disguised (ছদ্মবেশি) Preposition বলে।
- সাধারণত on এর পরিবর্তে ‘a’ এবং of এর পরিবর্তে ‘o’ বসে।

◉ Correct sentence - Few chances remain for his recovery.
- Few, negative অর্থে ব্যবহৃত quantifier determiners, যাদের অর্থ অল্প সংখ্যক বা নেই বললেই চলে। প্রশ্নে যেহেতু উল্লেখ আছে কোনো আশা নেই, তাই বাক্যে 'few' ব্যবহৃত হবে।

interrogative sentence-এ সাধারণত determiner হিসেবে some ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
সেক্ষেত্রে any ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Many a (determiner): 
English Meaning - Many times. 
Bangla Meaning - অনেকেই/ অনেক সংখ্যক। 

Structure: Many a + singular countable noun + singular verb. 

Examples: 
- Many a man dies by accident every day. 
- Many a flower has bloomed in this garden.

So, Complete Sentence - Many a tale has been told around this campfire. 

উল্লেখ্য, Sentence-টি passive voice এ আছে বিধায় খ) has হবে না।

Determiner: 
- Determiner এর প্রধান কাজ Noun কে Determine করা।
- Noun এর নির্দিষ্টতা-অনির্দিষ্টতা বুঝাতে এটি ব্যবহার হয়।
- তবে তা noun কে আংশিক কিংবা পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে modify করলেও, modify করা এটির প্রধান কাজ নয়।

- Demonstratives: this, that, these, those. 
- Possessives: my, your, his, her, etc.
- Quantifiers: some, many, few, one, two, no, etc.

- The last car caught my eye at the dealership.
- I need some assistance with my homework.
- This book on the shelf belongs to me.
এই তিনটি sentence এ যথাক্রমে 'last', 'some' ও 'This' determiner হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে Noun কে Determine করেছে। 

অন্যদিকে, Please pass me the salt.- এই বাক্যে 'me' determiner হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয় নি, pronoun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। 

তাই, সঠিক উত্তর: ঘ) Please pass me the salt.

একটি মাত্র পর্বত, দ্বীপ, হ্রদ ইত্যাদি বোঝালে তার পূর্বে the বসে না।
তাই সঠিক expression - Lake Baikal is in Russia.

- Violence একটি uncountable noun.
- সাধারণত uncountable noun এর পূর্বে much বসে।
- many, few countable noun এর পূর্বে বসে।

• Material noun (ex: salt, water ইত্যাদি) এবং Abstract noun (ex: honesty, cruelty ইত্যাদি) এর আগে The বসে না।
- Example: Iron is a useful material.

• কিন্তু material noun/ abstract noun এরপর Of + noun থাকলে তখন এর আগে The ব্যবহার করা হয়।
- Example: The water of this pond is turbid. (ঘোলা)।

- ভাষার নামের পুর্বে কোনো article ব্যবহৃত হয় না এবং
- যেকোনো জাতির নামের পুর্বে article হিসাবে the বসাতে হয়।

• উল্লিখিত প্রশ্নে: 
- যেহেতু প্রশ্নে, He speaks Arabic দ্বারা ভাষা বোঝানো হয়েছে তাই এর পূর্বে কোনো article বসবে না। 
- like __ Arabs দ্বারা আরবদের মত অর্থাৎ জাতিকে নির্দেশ করা হয়েছে তাই এর পূর্বে the বসবে।

- সুতরাং সঠিক উত্তর: He speaks Arabic like the Arabs.

The correct answer is - গ) the
The complete sentence: ​I will go to the nurse's home.
​"The" হলো definite article, যা নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি বা স্থানের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। এখানে "nurse's home" একটি নির্দিষ্ট নার্সের বাড়িকে বোঝায়, তাই "the nurse's home" সঠিক।

modifier + home এরূপ থাকলে তার আগে the বসতে পারে: 
​I will go to the nurse's home.

home, hospital, mosque, church, school, hospital, ​prison, sea, town, work এই word গুলোর আগে the বসে নাঃ 
Inc. He is at the home.

ক) a: "A" হলো indefinite article, যা সাধারণ বা অনির্দিষ্ট singular countable noun-এর আগে ব্যবহৃত হয়। কিন্তু এখানে "nurse's home" নির্দিষ্ট, তাই "a" ভুল।
খ) an: "An" ও indefinite article, যা vowel দিয়ে শুরু হওয়া singular countable noun-এর আগে ব্যবহৃত হয়। "Nurse" vowel দিয়ে শুরু হয় না, এবং "nurse's home" নির্দিষ্ট, তাই "an" ভুল।
ঘ) none: কিছু ক্ষেত্রে article ব্যবহার না করা যায়, যেমন plural বা generic noun-এর ক্ষেত্রে। কিন্তু এখানে "nurse's home" একটি নির্দিষ্ট singular noun phrase, তাই article প্রয়োজন। "None" ব্যবহার করলে বাক্যটি অসম্পূর্ণ হবে।

- Article মূলত Noun, Pronoun এর আগে বসে তাদের সংখ্যা এবং নির্দিষ্টতা, অনির্দিষ্টতাকে বুঝায়।

• Article কে প্রধানত ২ ভাগে ভাগ করা যায়।
1. Indefinite Articles: A, An.
2. Definite Articles: The.

• article ‘a’ বসে consonant (Vowel পাঁচটি ছাড়া বাকিগুলো) যুক্ত শব্দের শুরুতে।
• article ‘an’ বসে vowel (a, e, I, o, u) যুক্ত শব্দের শুরুতে।

• Note:
- ‘a ও ‍an’ বসানোর ক্ষেত্রে প্রথম শব্দের উচ্চারণই মুখ্য।
- অর্থাৎ প্রথম উচ্চারণটি যদি vowel এর হয়। তাহলে an হবে।
- আর যদি প্রথম উচ্চারণটি consonant এর হয় তাহলে a হবে।

এখানে Students – Countable Noun এর আগে শুধু a small number of বসানো যাবে।

• boy এখানে definite অর্থে ব্যবহার হয়েছে, কারণ—
- কার কথা বলা হচ্ছে তা নির্দিষ্ট (the mother already knew which boy).
- "by the collar" অংশটিও এটিকে definite করে তুলছে (boy-এর নিজের collar ধরা হয়েছে)।

• Article: 
- Articles মূলত Noun, Pronoun এর আগে বসে তাদের সংখ্যা এবং নির্দিষ্টতা, অনির্দিষ্টতা জ্ঞাপন করে।
- Articles কে প্রধানত দুই ভাগে ভাগ করে যায়।
• Indefinite Articles: A, An-এরা  Indefinite Article. (এরা নির্দিষ্টভাবে কোনো ব্যক্তি, বস্তু বা কোনো বিষয়কে নির্দেশ করে না)।

- In this sentence, "any" is a quantifier determiner that modifies the noun "eggs."

​• Determiner:
 - A determiner is a word used before a noun to clarify what the noun refers to. 
- যে সকল word - Noun -এর নির্দেশক, নির্দিষ্টতা, অনির্দিষ্টতা, পরিমাণ, সংখ্যা, মালিকানা, না-বাচকতা ইত্যাদি নির্দেশ করে, সেগুলোকে Determiner বলে।

সাধারণত কোন word এর শুরুতে Vowel থাকলে তার পূর্বে article হিসাবে an বসে। কিন্তু vowel এর উচ্চারণ যদি ওয়া বা ইউ এর মত হয় তাহলে এর পূর্বে a বসে।
তাই one এর পূর্বে a বসবে।
a one-taka note অর্থ একটি এক টাকার নােট।

- Bangla Meaning: টক শো চলাকালীন অনেক বেশি বিজ্ঞাপন থাকে।

• Determiner -এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- অত্যন্ত বেশি বা অধিক সংখ্যক অর্থে plural countable noun -এর পূর্বে too many এবং Uncountable noun -এর পূর্বে too much বসে।
- তাই শূন্যস্থানে plural countable noun প্রয়োজন (since "too many" is used and "are" indicates plurality).
- আর "Advertisements" হলো 'advertisement' -এর correct plural form.

• Other options:
- advertisement - Singular noun (incorrect; "many" requires plural).
- advertise - Verb (incorrect; needs a noun).
- advertee - not a correct word in English.
