• Determiner:
- এর প্রধান কাজ Noun/ Pronoun কে Determine করা।
- Noun/ Pronoun এর নির্দিষ্টতা-অনির্দিষ্টতা বুঝাতে এটি ব্যবহার হয়।
- তবে তা Noun কে আংশিক কিংবা পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে modify করলেও, modify করা এটির প্রধান কাজ নয়।

• নিম্নে Determiner এর তালিকা দেওয়া হলো:
• Articles:
- a, an, the.

• Demonstratives:
- this, that, these, those.

• Possessives:
- my, your, his, her, its, our, their, Jahangir's.

• Quantifiers:
- some, any, much, many, a lot of, a little, little, a few, few, enough, several, plenty of, all, both, no, each, every, either, neither, more, less, most, a lot of, lots of, plenty of, etc.

• Numbers:
- one, two, three, four, five, six (etc.)

• General Ordinals:
- Last, next, other, the other, etc.

• Interrogative Determiners:
- which, what, whose.
