Third Conditional এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- If-এর পর Past Perfect Tense থাকলে, পরবর্তী Sentenceটিতে Past Perfect Conditional (would have, could have + verb-এর Past Participle form) হয়।
- Structure: If + Past Perfect Tense + Past Perfect Conditional.
আবার, Subject + Past Perfect Conditional থাকলে if + Past Perfect Tense হয়।

উল্লেখ্য, অনেকসময় conditional part -এ if না থাকলে conditional part টি Had দ্বারা শুরু হয়। এটা purely hypothetical situation বোঝায়।
- যেমন: Had + Sub + V₃ + Sub+ would/could/might + have + V₃ + Extensions.
