ত‌বে, more specific হি‌সে‌বে এটা participle ধরা যে‌তে পা‌রে। কারণ, participle এর Definition হ‌চ্ছে, যে verb form- adjective এর কাজ ক‌রে, এর পাশাপা‌শি verb এর কিছু features ও এর ম‌ধ্যে বিদ্যমান থা‌কে।
যেমন, verb+ing এর ম‌ধ্যে continuous tense এর বৈ‌শিষ্ঠ্য থা‌কে, য‌দিও এটা adjective হয়।
Verb এর pp এর ম‌ধ্যে perfect tense এর বৈ‌শিষ্ঠ্য থা‌কে। সাধারণ adjective এর ম‌ধ্যে এসব feature পাওয়া যায় না।
উপরোক্ত আলোচনার ভিত্তিতে এটা বলা যায় যে, যদি অপশনে Participle ও Adjective দুটিই থাকে, তাহলে Participle উত্তর করাটাই যুক্তিযুক্ত।
