Jonathan Swift রচিত Gulliver’s Travels বইটিতে চারটি কাল্পনিক দেশে লেমুয়েল গালিভারের সফরের বর্ণনা রয়েছে। এই দেশগুলোর মধ্যে Brobdingnag একটি দেশ, যেখানে মানুষগুলো সাধারণ মানুষের তুলনায় বিশাল আকৃতির — অর্থাৎ তারা দৈত্যাকার। Gulliver's Travels-এ বিশালাকার মানুষদের Brobdingnagians বলা হয়। এরা Brobdingnag দেশের অধিবাসী। They are mostly reasonable and kindly, and they adhere to a sense of justice.

অন্যান্য অপশনগুলো:

ক) Laputans – এরা এক ধরণের বিজ্ঞানভিত্তিক, চিন্তামগ্ন জাতি, যারা আকাশে ভাসমান এক দ্বীপে বসবাস করে।
গ) Lilliputians – এরা গালিভার প্রথম যে দেশে যায়, সেই Lilliput দেশের ক্ষুদ্রাকৃতি মানুষ; এরা খুবই ছোটখাটো আকৃতির।
ঘ) Yahoos – তারা এক ধরণের বর্বর ও অশিক্ষিত জীব, যারা দেখতে মানুষের মতো কিন্তু খুব নিচু মানসিকতার।Primitive creatures among the Houyhnhnms in the novel's final part.

• Gulliver's Travels:
- Jonathan Swift রচিত একটি novel, তিনি Augustan age এর একজন Author, তাই এটি Augustan age এর  রচনা।
- এটি 18th century এর একটি famous satire.
- এটি ৪ খন্ডের একটি রম্য রচনা। 
- এর full title হচ্ছে - Travels into Several Remote Places in the World.
- এই novel টি ১৭২৬ সালে প্রকাশিত হয়।
 
• Lemuel Gulliver সমুদ্র ভ্রমণে বের হয় এবং পথিমধ্যে ঝড়ের কবলে পড়ে জাহাজ ভেঙ্গে যায়।
- Gulliver প্রানে বেঁচে যায় কিন্তু এক অদ্ভুত দেশে নিজেকে আবিষ্কার করে যেখানে সবার উচ্চতা ৬ ইঞ্চির নিচে।
-  তার বিশাল দেহ নিয়ে লিলিপুটদের নানা উপকারে আসে, এমনকি পার্শ্ববর্তী রাজ্য Blefuscu এর সাথে চলমান যুদ্ধেও লড়াই করে।
- এভাবে সে লিলিপুটদের রাজ্যে একপ্রকার হিরোতে পরিণত হয়।
- যদিও এক পর্যায়ে Gulliver তাদের রোষের শিকার হয় এবং তার শাস্তি হয় তার চোখ তুলে ফেলা হবে।
- পরিশেষে Gulliver শাস্তি এড়াতে সমর্থ হয় এবং বেঁচে ফিরে আসে।

• Gorboduc: 
- ১৫৩২ সালে প্রকাশিত এই ট্র্যাজিডিটি Elizabethan writers Thomas Norton ও Thomas Sackville দুইজন এর যৌথ রচনা।
- সুতরাং, 'Gorboduc' is an Elizabethan tragedy.

Bosola হলো John Webster এর লেখা নাটক "The Duchess of Malfi" এর একটি খুবই জনপ্রিয় চরিত্র।

• The Duchess of Malfi
- এটি একটি 5 acts বিশিষ্ট tragedy play যা Revenge Tragedy/ Tragedy of Suffering হিসেবে পরিচিত।
- এটি ১৬১৩-১৪ সালে লেখা এবং ১৬২৩ সালে প্রকাশিত হয়।

"Murder in the Cathedral" হলো টি. এস. এলিয়টের লেখা একটি নাটক যা St. Thomas Becket এর হত্যাকাণ্ড এর ওপর ভিত্তি করে রচিত।

- The play was performed at Canterbury Cathedral in 1935 and published the same year.

"The Rape of the Lock" হলো Alexander Pope-এর লেখা একটি বিখ্যাত কবিতা, যা একটি Mock-epic poem বা ব্যঙ্গাত্মক মহাকাব্যিক কবিতা।

• The Rape of the Lock: 
- It is a narrative Poem.
- এটির প্রথম ভার্সন ১৭১২ সালে প্রকাশিত হয় consisted of two cantos.
- The final version, published in 1714, was expanded to five cantos.
