যে Verb এর Subject নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করিয়ে নেয়, তাকে Causative Verb বলে। যেমন – make, have, get, cause, let ইত্যাদি। এদের মধ্যে Cause এর object যদি অর্থগতভাবে পরবর্তী Verb এর কর্তা হয়, তাহলে Infinitive বা to+ Verb এর Base Form বসে। আর যদি Cause এর object অর্থগতভাবে পরবর্তী Verb এর কর্ম হয়, তাহলে Verb এর Past Participle বসে।
