• Though/ although যুক্ত complex sentence কে compound sentence রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- Though/ although উঠে যাবে।  
- প্রথম clause টি বসবে।
- তারপর but বসবে।
- ২য় clause টি বসবে।     

Complex sentence: Though the boy has many brothers, he seems to be lonely.
Compound sentence: The boy has many brothers but seems to be lonely.

• But যুক্ত Compound sentence কে Simple sentence রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- প্রথমে In spite of/ Despite বসে।
- প্রথম sentence এর subject অনুযায়ী এর possessive form বসবে।
- প্রথম sentence এর am/ is/ are/ was/ were এর পরিবর্তে being বসে অথবা has,have,had এর পরিবর্তে having বসে বা মুল verb এর সাথে ing যোগ করতে হবে।
- But এর পরিবর্তে comma (,) বসে। 
- তারপর ২য় sentence টি বসে।

Compound: She is ill but she can attend the meeting.
Simple: In spite of her being ill, she can attend the meeting.

• Since/as যুক্ত Complex sentence এর clause দুটির subject এক হলে since/ as যুক্ত clause এ শুধুমাত্র be verb থাকলে নিচের নিয়ম এর সাহায্যে Simple করতে হবে-
- since/as এর পরিবর্তে Because of বসে।
- প্রথম clause এর subject অনুযায়ী এর possessive form বসবে।  
- am / is / are / was / were এর পরিবর্তে being বসে বা has / have / had  এর পরিবর্তে having বসে।

Complex: Since she was small, she could not work hard.
Simple: Because of her being small, she could not work hard.
