Confound
- This is a transitive verb. 
- Meaning: To confuse and very much surprise someone, so that they are unable to explain or deal with a situation.
- In Bengali:  বিভ্রান্ত বা কিংকর্তব্যবিমূঢ় করা; বিস্মিত করা।

Appease (verb-transitive)

English Meaning: (in arguments or war) To prevent further disagreement by giving to the other side something that they have demanded.
