• I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud/The Daffodils:

- প্রকাশিত হয় 1807 সালে।
- এই কবিতাটিকে 'The Daffodils' ও বলা হয়।

- কবিতার বিষয়বস্তু হলো Galway কাউন্টিতে অবস্থিত Coole পার্কে তার দুটি ভ্রমণের মাঝে তুলনা । 
- তাঁর প্রথমবারের ভ্রমনটি হয়েছিল ১৮৯৭ সালে এবং পরেরটি ১৯১৬ সালে।
-দ্বিতীয় ভ্রমণের সময় পুকুরে হাঁস দেখে তার মনে হলো, সব কিছুই কেমন যেন বদলে গেছে, কিছুই আর আগের মতো নেই।

- FitzGerald was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he formed a lifelong friendship with William Makepeace Thackeray.
- Edward Fitzgerald, ১৮৫৯ সালে ‘The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam’ কাব্য গ্রন্থটি কে Persian থেকে English এ অনুবাদ করেন।
