• Adverb of Purpose:
- যে adverb কোনো কাজের উদ্দেশ্য নির্দেশ করে তাকে Adverb of Purposeবলে।

-যেমন: He worked overtime in order that he could save more money.

• Adverb of time:
- যে adverb কোনকিছু কখন/কোন সময়ে ঘটেছে তা বর্ণনা/উল্লেখ করে তাকে Adverb of time বলে। এটা sentence এর শুরুতে অথবা শেষে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- Verb এবং Object একই জাতের অর্থ প্রকাশ করে।
- এর object কে বলা হয় cognate object.
- অর্থাৎ, কোন Intransitive verb যখন বাক্যস্থিত ক্রিয়াপদ বা verb এর মূলশব্দ (root word) থেকে উৎপন্ন নতুন কোন word বা শব্দকে object হিসেবে গ্রহণ করে তখন সেই verb কে Cognate verb বলা হয়।
