• 'Alone, alone, all, all alone;
Alone on a wide, wide sea'
- These lines are examples of - Assonance.

• Assonance:
- The Repetition of a vowel sound in nearby words (without the recurrence of consonant sounds which would make a rhyme) is called assonance.
- It is used for musical effect.
- দুটি শব্দের স্বরাঘাতযুক্ত স্বরধ্বনিদ্বয়ের মিল– এক্ষেত্রে পরবর্তী ব্যঞ্জনধ্বনিগুলোর মধ্যে কোনো মিল থাকে না; স্বরসাদৃশ্য।
- - It can create musicality, rhythm, and emphasis within a poem or prose passage.

•অন্যদিকে, 
• Alliteration:
- The Repetition of a consonant at the beginning of two or more words or stressed syllables is called Alliteration.
- যখন পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত বা পাশাপাশি স্থাপিত শব্দের শুরুতে একই বর্ণ বা একই ধরনের উচ্চারণ থাকে তাকে অনুপ্রাস (Alliteration) বলে।

• Examples of Alliteration:
- 'Puffs, powders, patches, Bibles, billet-doux'. (Here 'p' has been repeated thrice and 'b' twice).
- Fair is foul, and foul is fair.
- A big bully beats a baby boy.
- She sells seashells by the seashore.

• Consonance:
- Repetition of consonants without similar vowels for two or more times at the end of accented syllables.
- For example- in “shock”, “luck” and “pick”; “ck' has been repeated but the accompanying vowels are different.
“Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May.''
(Shakespeare: “Sonnet XVIII”)

• Difference between Alliteration and Consonance:
- সাধারণত Alliteration কে Alliteration Consonance এর একটি subset বলা যেতে পারে।
- কিন্তু এদের মধ্যে সূক্ষ্ম পার্থক্য বিদ্যমান।
- Alliteration হলো একাধিক শব্দের শুরুতে একই শব্দের পুনরাবৃত্তিমূলক ব্যবহার।
- আর Consonance হলো শব্দ বা বাক্যের যেকোনো জায়গায় ব্যঞ্জনধ্বনির পুনরাবৃত্তি।
- Consonance শব্দের শুরুতে, মাঝখানে বা শেষে ঘটতে পারে যখন Alliteration শুধুমাত্র শুরুতে ঘটে।
- Alliteration is the repetitive use of the same sound near the beginning of several words

• Pyrrhic
- A foot of two unstressed syllables.

• 'An argument on religious or political issues of a particular time' is called - Pamphlet.
- এটি মূলত একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত পুস্তিকা ধরনের লেখা। 
- এগুলো সাধারণত ৪৮ পৃষ্ঠার বেশি হয় না।
- The primary characteristic of a pamphlet is it is a concise publication addressing a particular issue or topic.

Other options:
• A legendary story that involves supernatural incidents - Fable.
• An ancient story of Gods and Goddesses and their mysterious actions - Myth/ Mythology.
•  The ancient doctrine of art and literature is known as - Classicism.

• Allusion:
- Allusion, in literature, an implied or indirect reference to a person, event, or thing or to a part of another text.
- কোনো বিখ্যাত ব্যক্তি বা ঐতিহাসিক ঘটনাকে পরোক্ষভাবে উপস্থাপন করা।
- এছাড়া বিষয়ভেদে একই বস্তুর বিভিন্ন দৃষ্টিকোণের দর্শনে যে সৌন্দর্য সৃষ্টি হয় তাকে Allusion বলে।
- It’s when a writer mentions some other work, or refers to an earlier part of the current work.
- In literature, it’s frequently used to reference cultural works (e.g. by alluding to a Bible story or Greek myth).

• যেমন -
- Don't act like a Romeo Infront of her.
-  এখানে Romeo দ্বারা উইলিয়াম শেক্সপিয়ারের "রোমিও এবং জুলিয়েট" নাটকের নায়ক রোমিওকে বুঝানো হয়েছে। রোমিও এর নাম উল্লেখ করে, বক্তা তার চরিত্রের বৈশিষ্ট্য, বিশেষ করে তার আবেগপূর্ণ এবং নাটকীয় রোমান্টিক আচরণের প্রতি ইঙ্গিত দিচ্ছেন।

আবার, 
- Chocolate cake is my Achillies heel
- এখানে, বলা হচ্ছে Chocolate cake আমার Achilis Heel অর্থাৎ দুর্বলতা।
- এখানে দুর্বলতা বোঝাতে গ্রিকবীর একিলিসের নাম নেওয়া হয়েছে।
- অন্য কোন সাহিত্যকর্ম থেকে উদাহরণ দেওয়া হলে আমরা সেটিকে Allusion বলি।

• অন্য অপশন গুলোর মধ্যে - 
• Aphorism - A terse, memorable expression of a universal truth.
• Denotation - The direct meaning of a word.
• Lampoon - A bitter satire in prose or verse that ridicules and attacks a person or group.

• "Ten thousand saw I at a glance" - is an example of -- Hyperbole.
- In this case, Wordsworth is exaggerating the number of daffodils he saw.

• Hyperbole: 
- An exaggerated statement or an extreme overstatement.
- অতিশয়োক্তি; অত্যুক্তি; অতিরঞ্জন।
- কমেডিতে ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে অতিরঞ্জিত ভাব প্রকাশের জন্য Hyperbole ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Love poetry তে প্রিয়জনের প্রতি তীব্র প্রশংসা জানাতে Hyperbole ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Hyperbole হাসির উদ্রেক অথবা কঠিন সমালোচনা প্রকাশ করতে পারে।

The furrow followed free.' is the example of - Alliteration.

• The repetition of an initial consonant sound is called Alliteration.
- অর্থাৎ যখন পরস্পর সম্পর্ক যুক্ত বা পাশাপাশি স্থাপিত শব্দের শুরুতে একই বর্ণ বা একই ধরনের উচ্চারণ থাকে তাকে অনুপ্রাস (Alliteration) বলে।

Example of Alliteration - 
1.
'The fair breeze blew, the white foam flew,
The furrow followed free.'
- এখানে 'f' এবং 'b' দ্বারা শুরু হওয়া শব্দ পাশাপাশি বসেছে অর্থাৎ consonant sound এর repetition ঘটেছে।
2.
'Puffs, powders, patches, Bibles, billet-doux' is an example of Alliteration.
Here 'p' has been repeated thrice and 'b' twice.

• Digression
- A part of speech or writing that breaks the theme.

• Anaphora:
- Repetition of a word or phrase at the beginnings of two or more successive verse lines, clauses, or more successive verse lines, clauses or sentences.
- অর্থাৎ কোন word অথবা phrase এর repetition হয় পর পর কোন verse এর শুরুতে তাকে Anaphora বলে।
- যেমন:
In Every cry of every man
In every Infant's cry of fear,

• Apostrophe: (সম্বোধন অলঙ্কার)
- An address to someone absent or something abstract as if the person or the thing were present.
- By using an apostrophe, a speaker turns from the audience to address a single person or thing.
- এটা এক ধরনের Personification । এখানে লেখক প্রানহীন, নির্জীব বস্তুকে ব্যক্তিরুপে কিংবা অনুপস্থিত ব্যক্তিকে উপস্থিত ব্যক্তিরুপে সম্বোধন করেন।
- In other words, the addressing of a usually absent person or a usually personified thing rhetorically
