- 'Waiting for Godot' একটি two-act বিশিষ্ট tragic-comedy এবং Absurd play by Samuel Beckett.
- এই play টি লেখক প্রথমে ফ্রেঞ্চ ভাষায় রচনা করেছিলেন, যার French name হচ্ছে - 'En attendant Godot.'
- পরবর্তীতে লেখক নিজেই এটিকে ইংরেজি ভাষায় 'Waiting for Godo' নামে অনুবাদ করেন।

• Moby Dick:
- প্রথম প্রকাশিত হয় লন্ডনে, ১৮৫১ সালে। Herman Melville এর লেখা উপন্যাস। 
- প্রথমে এটির নাম ছিলো, The Whale. পরবর্তীতে, একমাস পরে নিউইয়র্কে এটি প্রকাশিত হয় বর্তমান নামে। 
- তিমি মাছ শিকারী একটি জাহাজের অভিযানকে কেন্দ্র করে উপন্যাসের কাহিনী আবর্তিত হয়েছে। 

• কাহিনী সংক্ষেপ: 
- বর্ণনাকারীর নাম Ishmael। যে দু:সহ একটি সমুদ্র অভিযানের কাহিনী বর্ণনা করছে।
- Pequod নামক একটি তিমি শিকারী জাহাজে করে যে অভিযান  সম্পাদিত হয়েছিল।
- জাহাজের ক্যাপ্টেন ছিল Captain Ahab নামক একজন পাগলাটে নাবিক যে Moby Dick  নামক একটি তিমির আক্রমনে তার এক পা হারিয়েছিল। 
- পরবর্তীতে বোঝা যায়, ক্ষেপাটে এবং বিকারগ্রস্ত নাবিক Captain Ahab  এবার পণ করেছে যে করেই হোক Moby Dick কে হত্যা করবেই। সঙ্গীদের বারণ সত্ত্বেও সে তার সংকল্পে অটল থাকে।
- শেষমেষ বিশালাকৃতির ভয়ংকর তিমি মাছটি জাহাজটি বিধ্বস্ত করে দেয় জাহাজের সকল যাত্রী মারা যায়। বেঁচে যায় কেবল কাহিনীর বর্ণনাকারী Ishmael।
