• Active voice কে Passive voice এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:

- মূল verb এর past participle + Active voice এর subject টি Passive voice এর object হয় এবং তার পূর্বে Preposition (By, with, at, to, in) বসে।

• Simple sentence এ to অথবা in order to থাকলে Compound Sentence এ পরিণত করতে তিনটি কাজ করতে হয় -
- যথা-
(1) Clause গুলোর অবস্থান উল্টে যাবে।
(2) ‘want to’ অতিরিক্ত যোগ হবে।
(3) ‘and so/ therefore’ Conjunction যোগ হবে।

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর হবে - We want to secure a good grade and so we study hard.

• অন্যদিকে, 
• Simple Sentence এ 'in order to' থাকলে Complex Sentence এ রূপান্তর করার সময় 
- In order to এর স্থলে In order that অথবা So that বসবে +  এরপর noun phrase + may/might বসবে। 
- যেমন: We study hard so that we may secure a good grade.

• Make, need, dare, bare, hear, feel, know, ইত্যাদি causative verb গুলোর পর active voice এ bare infinitive অর্থাৎ to উহ্য থাকে। 
- কিন্তু passive এ পরিবর্তন করবার সময় তাদের পর to বসাতে হয়। 

- তাই প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত I was helped to complete the design by Himu.  - বাক্যটিকে active করার সময় - 
- প্রথমে  object টি subject রূপে বসবে + causative verb + subject টি object রূপে বসবে + main verb বসবে।
- to উঠে যাবে।

Passive: I was helped to complete the design by Himu.
Active: Himu helped me complete the work.

• প্রশ্নটি করা হয়েছে Before যুক্ত বাক্যের গঠন এর উপর ভিত্তি করে। 

• Before যুক্ত বাক্যের গঠন:
- Past perfect + before + Past indefinite
- 'Before' conjunction যুক্ত sentence এ before এর পুর্বে past perfect tense হয় এবং before এর পরে past indefinite হবে।

• Sentence Correction:
- She had finished her homework before she went out to play.
- বাক্যটিতে before এর পূর্বে past perfect tense ও পরে past indefinite হওয়াতে সঠিক হয়েছে।

• Would rather
- অর্থ: বরং করব/বলব/যাব ইত্যাদি।
- would rather দিয়ে দুটি কাজের মধ্যে দ্বিতীয়টির চেয়ে প্রথমটি শ্রেয়, এ রকম বোঝায়।
- Would rather এর পরে Verb এর Present form হয়।

Complete sentence: I would rather die than beg.

• No sooner had, Hardly had, Scarcely had এবং As soon as সবগুলোই ‘করতে না করতেই/ হতে না হতেই’ এ রকম অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• কিন্তু নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- No sooner had থাকলে পরের অংশে than (then নয়) ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Hardly had থাকলে পরের অংশে when ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Scarcely had থাকলে পরের অংশে when (than নয়) ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- As soon as থাকলে পরের অংশে শুধু কমা বসে, অন্য কোনো শব্দ ব্যবহৃত হয় না।

• No sooner had যুক্ত বাক্য গঠনের নিয়মাবলী:
- No sooner had + subject + 1st clause (verb এর past participle) + than + subject + 2nd clause (verb এর past form).

Correct sentence: No sooner had the plane taken off than the passengers felt turbulence.
- বাক্যের 1st clause এ verb এর past participle 'taken' বসেছে এবং than পরবর্তী clauseটিতে verb এর past form 'felt' বসেছে।

• Third conditional এর নিয়মানুযায়ী - 
- অনেকসময় conditional-এ subordinate conjunction if এর পরিবর্তে sentence এর শুরুতে Had ব্যবহার করা যায় এবং এর পর verb এর past participle form বসে।
- Conditional sentence- এ Had + Sub + V3 + Ext. এভাবে কোন Sentence শুরু হলে সেটিও Perfect conditional/ 3rd conditional হয়। তাই পরবর্তী clause এ would/could/might + have + V3 + extension ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Complete sentence: If she had worn sunscreen, she wouldn't have gotten sunburned.

Bangla meaning: নির্দোষ বলে রায় দেওয়া; খালাস দেওয়া; অভিযোগ থেকে অব্যাহতি দেওয়া।  
- কাউকে কোন কিছু হতে বেকসুর খালাস দেয়া বোঝাতে acquitted এরপর of হবে.
