• Elizabethan dramatist George Peele wrote 'The Old Wives’ Tale'.

• The Old Wives’ Tale:
- 'The Old Wives' Tale', a play largely in prose written by University Wits George Peele.
- ১৫৯৫ সালে প্রকাশিত হওয়া এটি একটি Romance comedy play.
- The play is a satire on the romantic dramas of the time, the first English work of this kind.
