- Subject যখন নিযে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করায় তখন এই অর্থে Causative Verb ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকে।

• Non-finite verb
- A non-finite verb is a verb that does not show tense, person, or number.
- Non-finite verb সাধারণত তিন প্রকার। যথা:
01. Infinitive,
02. Gerund,
03. Participles.
- যে verb দ্বারা Sentence এর বক্তব্য শেষ হয় না ও কোনো Subject এর Number ও Person দ্বারা যার রূপ নির্ণয় করা যায় না তাকে Non-finite verb বলে। যেমন:

• Cognate Verb:
- Verb এবং Object একই জাতের অর্থ প্রকাশ করে।
- এর object কে বলা হয় cognate object.
- অর্থাৎ, কোন Intransitive verb যখন বাক্যস্থিত ক্রিয়াপদ বা verb এর মূলশব্দ (root word) থেকে উৎপন্ন নতুন কোন word বা শব্দকে object হিসেবে গ্রহণ করে তখন সেই verb কে Cognate verb বলা হয়।

• Present Subjunctive
- চাওয়া বা ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করতে sub-ordinate clause হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয়।
- এ verb এর Base form ব্যবহারের রীতিই হলো Present Subjunctive.
- Structure: Subject + verb (any tense) + that + subject + verb এর base form + extension.
- সাধারণত advise, necessery, ask, command, recommand, demand, urge, propose, suggest, insist, prefer, request, require, ইত্যাদি verb গুলো ব্যবহৃত হলে এই নিয়ম প্রযোজ্য হবে।
- এক্ষেত্রে that যুক্ত sub-ordinate clause এ সর্বদাই verb এর Base form হবে এবং Neagtive এর ক্ষেত্রে base form এর পূর্বে শুধু not বসবে।
- be verb থাকলে শুধু 'be' বসবে।
