• Adverbial Phrase:
- যে phrase বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে adverb এর মত কাজ করে তাকে Adverbial Phrase বলে ৷
- সাধারণত বাক্যকে কখন ( when), কোথায় ( where), কেন( why) ও কিভাবে (how) দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর হিসেবে যে phrase পাওয়া যায় সেটি Advrbial phrase.

• এখানে "rarely" শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে, যা negative অর্থ প্রকাশ করে।
- "Rarely" মানে খুব কম সময়ে বা প্রায়ই না।

• Tag question-এর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী,
- যদি মূল বাক্যটি negative হয়, তাহলে tag question affirmative হবে। যেহেতু "rarely" এখানে negative প্রকাশ করছে, তাই tag question হবে affirmative.
- সেই সাথে, বাক্যটি Present Indefinite Tense-এ আছে তাই affirmative - tag question এর জন্য does ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে এবং subject হলো "he" 
- তাই সঠিক উত্তর হবে 'does he?'

Optative Sentence (প্রার্থনা সূচক বাক্য):
- যে Sentence দ্বারা মনে ইচ্ছা কিংবা প্রার্থনা প্রকাশ করে তাকে Optative Sentence বলে।
- It expresses desire, prayer, wish, etc.
- Structure: May + subject + verb + extension. 
- বেশিরভাগ optative sentence এই may ব্যবহৃত হয়। তবে কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে ব্যতিক্রম আছে।

Examples:
- May Allah help you to overcome all the obstacles.
- May you be happy in your future life.
- Live long our president.

• Resolve (verb-transitive), (verb intransitive)
English Meaning: To solve or end a problem or difficulty.
Bangla Meaning: 
(১) resolve to do something; resolve that; resolve on/upon (doing) something সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করা; স্থির করা।
(২) (সংগঠন, জনসভা, আইন পরিষদের ক্ষেত্রে) প্রস্তাব গ্রহণ করা।
(৩) (সন্দেহ, বাধা ইত্যাদি ক্ষেত্রে) উপসংহার টানা।
(৪) resolve something (into something) (বিভিন্ন অংশে) বিভক্ত করা অথবা আলাদা করা; রূপান্তর করা।

• Complete Sentence: Rescuers never hesitated to help the flood victims, did they?

• Tag question করার নিয়ম:
- সাধারণত Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত হওয়ার জন্য।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টা negative হবে। আবার statement negative হলে tag question positive হবে।
- Tag question এর নিয়মানুযায়ী বাক্যটি Negative হওয়ায় Tag question Affirmative হবে।
- বাক্যটি Past indefinite tense হওয়ায় Tag question এর ক্ষেত্রে did she হবে।

- Assertive Sentence: He leads a most sorrowful life.
- Exclamatory Sentence: What a sorrowful life he leads!

• Assertive to Exclamatory করার structure:
- প্রথমে What/How বসে + Adjective বসে
- এরপর Subject + Verb + বাকি অংশ + Exclamation mark.

• বি: দ্র: Adjective এর পূর্বে  a/an থাকলে Exclamatory করার সময় What বসবে এবং এরপর a/an হবে। আর যদি Adjective এর পূর্বে a/an না থাকে তবে How দিয়ে Exclamatory করতে হবে।

- Assertive Sentence: The Padma is a big river.
- Exclamatory Sentence: What a big river the Padma is!

- Exclamatory Sentence: How beautiful the garden is!

• Warrant (noun)
English Meaning: An official document approved by an authority, especially a judge, which gives the police permission to do certain things.
Bangla Meaning: (১) [uncountable noun] ন্যায্যতা বা কর্তৃত্ব: You had no warrant for what you did.
(২) [countable noun] কোনোকিছুর জন্য সরকারি বা বৈধ কর্তৃত্ব প্রদানকারী আদেশপত্র; পরোয়ানা: a warrant of arrest, গ্রেফতারি পরোয়ানা।
(৩) [countable noun] কাউকে ওয়ারেন্ট অফিসার হিসেবে নিয়োগের পত্র।

• Tortuous (adjective)
English Meaning: Full of twists and turns; not straight or direct.
Bangla Meaning: আঁকাবাঁকা: a tortuous path; (লাক্ষণিক) জটিল, প্যাঁচানো: a tortuous man.

Synonyms: Twisting (মোচড়), Curving (কুঁচন), Sinuous (আঁকাবাঁকা; ঘোরানো; পাকানো), Tangled (জট), Byzantine (অত্যন্ত জটিল এবং প্যাঁচানো।

Antonyms: Straight (সরস; ঋজু; সিধা), Straightforward (সহজবোধ্য; সহজসাধ্য), Direct (সরাসরি), Simple (সহজ), Uncomplicated (জটিলতামুক্ত)।

• Swimming in the creek is not easy.
- Here 'Swimming in the creek'  -এ 'swimming' শব্দটি Subject হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। 
- অনেক সময় noun phrase চেনার জন্য একে it দ্বারা replace করেও দেখা যায়।
