Question: If p + q = 12 and pq = 32, then the numerical value of (p/q) + (q/p) will be? 

Solution:
Given that,
p + q = 12
and pq = 32

Now,
p + q = 12
(p + q)² = 12²
p² + 2pq + q² = 144
p² + q² + 2 × 32 = 144
p² + q² = 144 - 64
p² + q² = 80

Again,
(p/q) + (q/p)
= (p² + q²)/pq
= 80/32
= 2.50

Question: If a² + b² + c² + 3 = 2(a - b - c), then the value of 2a - b + c is? 

Solution: 
a² + b² + c² + 3 = 2(a - b - c)
⇒ a² + b² + c² + 3 = 2a - 2b - 2c
⇒ a² + b² + c² + 3 - 2a + 2b + 2c = 0
⇒ (a² - 2a + 1) + (b² + 2b + 1) + (c² + 2c + 1) = 0
∴ (a - 1)² + (b + 1)² + (c + 1)² = 0 

∴ a = 1
∴ b = -1
∴ c = -1 

2a - b + c 
= 2 - (- 1) + (- 1)
= 2 + 1 - 1
= 2

Question: If 9x² - qx + 16 is a square number, then q =? 

Solution:
Given that,
9x² - qx + 16
= (3x)² - 2.3.4x + (4)²
= (3x)² - 24x + (4)²

∴ q = 24

Question: If for non zero x, x² - 4x - 1 = 0, then the value of x² + (1/x²) is? 

Solution:
x² − 4x − 1 = 0
⇒ x² − 1 = 4x
⇒ x − (1/x) = 4  (divide x both sides)
⇒ {x − (1/x)}² = 4²
⇒ x² + (1/x²) − 2.x.(1/x) = 16
∴ x² + (1/x²) = 18

PQXZ → No vowel.
CQBN → No vowel.
ABDF → One vowel.

Solution:
মোট শিক্ষার্থী = ৩৩ জন
রিফাত তাদের মধ্যে ১৩তম

সিফাতের পিছনে ৫ জন আছে।
অর্থাৎ সিফাত শেষ থেকে ৬ষ্ঠ।

তাই, রিফাত ও সিফাতের মধ্যে আছে = ৩৩ - (১৩ + ৬) = ১৪

Solution:
আজকে সাবিতের বয়স = x বছর
১ বছর পর সাবিতের বয়স হবে = (x + 1) বছর

শর্তমতে,
x + 1 = 2(x - 12)
⇒ x + 1 = 2x - 24
⇒ x = 25

Question: Nazir walks 10 km towards the north. From there, he walks 6 km towards the south. Then he walks 3 km towards the east. How far and in which direction is he with reference to his starting point?

Solution

OC = √(OB² + BC²)
OC = √(4² + 3²)
