• And দ্বারা যুক্ত sentence এ যদি subject একই ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে না বুঝিয়ে ভিন্ন দুটি ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে বুঝায় তখন তাদের verb ও pronoun plural হয়। 
- Noun দুটি ভিন্ন হলে noun দুটির আগে the থাকবে।

• One of/ Any of/ Each of/ Either of/ Neither of যদি subject হিসেবে ব্যবহার হলে এরপরে সব সময় Plural Noun বসে। যার কারণে এটি 'Either of the pens' হয়েছে।
- আর 'Either of the pens' phrase এর headword টি 'Either' singular হওয়ায় Verb Singular হবে।
- তাই Verb হিসেবে is ব্যবহার হয়েছে।

• Adjective Phrase:
- যে Phrase গুলো sentence এ adjective এর মত কাজ করে, অর্থাৎ Noun এর অবস্থা, দোষ, গুণ ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করে সেই Phrase গুলোকে Adjective Phrase বলে।
- Noun এরপর যদি কোন clause/ phrased বসে তাহলে সেটি হবে Adjective clause/ phrase.
- বাক্যেটিতে "The baby was very hungry after the long nap". very hungry অংশটি বাক্যের Noun "The baby" কে modify করেছে। তাই এই অংশটুকু Adjective Phrase.

• Uses of the preposition 'between'/ 'among':
- সাধারণত দুইটি ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর ক্ষেত্রে between এবং দুইয়ের অধিক ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর এর ক্ষেত্রে among ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Collective noun এর পূর্বে among ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- যখন তিন বা ততোধিক ব্যক্তির মধ্যে কিছু বিতরণ করা হয়, তখন among ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• Noun Clause:
- যে সব Subordinate Clause Noun এর কাজ করে থাকে, অর্থাৎ Subject, Object, Compliment বা Case in Apposition- এর কাজ করে থাকে তাকে Noun Clause বলে।

• Noun Clause বিভিন্নভাবে ব্যবহার হতে পারে। যেমন:
- Verb এর Subject হিসেবে।
- Verb এর Object হিসেবে।
- Object এর complement হিসেবে। Complement দুই প্রকার। যেমন: 1. Subjective Complement এবং 2. Objective Complement
- Verb এর Subject এর Complement হিসেবে।

• Noun Clause যখন verb এর Object হিসেবে কাজ করে তখন তা That, Wh word: what, when, where, whom, why, whether, how এবং if দিয়ে শুরু হয়।
- প্রদত্ত sentence টিতে 'why they left so early' Noun clause এর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী why দ্বারা শুরু হয়েছে এবং Wonder (verb) এর object হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।
- উল্লেখ্য Noun Clause যখন transitive Verb এর Object হিসেবে That দিয়ে শুরু হয় তখন That বাদ যায়।

• অতীতের অভ্যাস/ অভস্ত্যতা বোঝাতে used to ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• কিন্তু, Be/ get used to (অভ্যস্থ থাকা)

- এ Clause দ্বারা principal clause এর কাজ কিভাবে সম্পন্ন হয় তা নির্দেশ করে।

- Example:
- Though she was nervous, she spoke confidently during the meeting.
- 'কী সত্ত্বেও 'she spoke confidently during the meeting' প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর পাওয়া যায় - 'Though she was nervous'.
- তাই এটি Adverbial clause of concession.

• Adverbial clause of purpose
- Principal clause এর কাজের উদ্দেশ্যের প্রতি ইংগিত করে।
- Adverbial Clause of reason টি Subordanating Conjunction দিয়ে শুরু হয়। যেমন: That, So that, In order to, Lest দ্বারা শুরু হয়।

- Example:
- He works hard so that he can succeed.
- Why দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর পাওয়া যায়।
- সে কেন পরিশ্রম করছে? - "so that he can succeed" (যাতে সে সফল হতে পারে)।

• Note:
- Adverbial clause সাধারণত "where" - (কোথায়), "when" -(কখন), "how" - (কীভাবে), "why' - (কেন) ইত্যাদি প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেয়।
