একটি মাত্র subject এবং একটি মাত্র finite নিয়ে গঠিত sentence কে simple sentence বলে।
to carry the load - এর মধ্যে কোন Finite Verb নেই, to carry একটি infinitive যা non-finite verb।
তাই পুরো বাক্যের মধ্যে Clause আছে একটি।
সুতরাং এটি Simple Sentence.

একটি principal clause এবং এক বা একাধিক sub-ordinate নিয়ে গঠিত sentence কে complex sentence বলে।
শেষ বাক্যটিতে একটি মাত্র finite verb রয়েছে তাই এটি একটি simple sentence.

১ম, ২য় ও শেষ বাক্যে একটি subject ও একটি finite verb থাকায় বাক্য দুটি simple sentence.
এবং ৩য় বাক্যে একাধিক finite verb অর্থাৎ clause আছে এবং who দ্বারা দুটি clause যুক্ত হয়েছে তাই এটি complex sentence.

Simple sentence কে compound sentence এ রূপান্তর করার সময় দুটি clause এ পরিণত করতে হয় এবং প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী conjunction (and, but, or, also, thus, so, therefore, else, as well as ইত্যাদি) ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
প্রথম ও শেষ বাক্যে conjunction ব্যবহৃত হলেও clause আছে একটি করে তাই বাক্য দুটি গঠনগতভাবে ভুল।

Complex sentence এ দুটি clause থাকে যাদের মধ্যে একটি principal clause এবং আর একটি subordinate clause।
সুতরাং প্রদত্ত বাক্যটির complex form হলো - When he was four, he left his village.
তৃতীয় বাক্যটি গঠনগত দিক থেকে Complex হলেও অর্থগত দিক থেকে ভুল।

Complex sentence কে Simple sentence এ রূপান্তরিত করতে if, which, since ইত্যাদি তুলে দিতে হয় এবং একটি clause এ পরিণত করতে হয়।
বাক্যগুলোর মধ্যে শুধু “I rewarded Kamal for his hard work” এ একটি মাত্র clause রয়েছে, তাই এটিই সঠিক Simple sentence.

Compound sentence একাধিক clause থাকে এবং এরা coordinating conjunction (and, but, or, also, thus, so, therefore, else, as well as ইত্যাদি) দ্বারা যুক্ত থাকে।
গঠন ও অর্থগত দিক থেকে সঠিক Compound sentence হচ্ছে Do as I tell you or you will regret it.

দুটির মধ্যে compare করার জন্য comparative degree ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Able এর সঠিক comparative degree হচ্ছে - Abler.

প্রথম বাক্যে great এর superlative হবে, দ্বিতীয় বাক্যে Very few এর পর plural form বসবে, শেষ বাক্যটিতে no other থাকায় verb singular হবে।

Active Voice এ Subject হিসেবে People ,one ইত্যাদি থাকলে Passive করার সময় People / one বাদ দিতে হয়।
যেমন -
One should do one’s duty (active)
=> Duty should be done (passive).

বাক্যে ক্রিয়ার কর্তা দেয়া না থাকলে passive থেকে active করার সময় একটি সুবিধাজনক কর্তা যেমন - someone, somebody, people, one ইত্যাদি ধরে নিতে হবে।
প্রদত্ত বাক্যের সঠিক active form হচ্ছে -
- One should keep one’s promise.

যদি verb টি Cognate Verb হয় তাহলে Active Voice এ Object না থাকতে পারে, Passive করার সময় ঐ রকম একটি Object কে Subject বানিয়ে বসাতে হবে।
