• প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নের সঠিক উত্তর the.

• A, An & The কে article বলে।
• Article দুই প্রকার।
যেমন:
1. Indefinite: A, An.
2. Definite: The.

The rich are not always happy.
Adjective যদি জাতিকে নির্দেশ করে তাহলে এর পূর্বে the বসে এবং এটি plural commom noun হয়ে যায়। বাক্যে rich দ্বারা সকল ধনীকে বুঝিয়েছে এরফলে এর পূর্বে the বসেছে।

• All's well that ends well  প্রবাদ বাক্যটির অর্থ হচ্ছে- শেষ ভালো যার, সব ভালো তার।

অন্যান্য অপশন - 
• চোর পালালে বুদ্ধি বাড়ে - After death comes the doctor.
• নানা মুনির নানা মত - Many man many mind.
• কথার চেয়ে কাজের দাম বেশি - Action speaks louder than words.

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের সঠিক উত্তর- prefer to. 
• Use of Prefer:
- prefer এর পরে দুটি noun থাকলে দুটি noun এর মাঝে তুলনা বুঝালে তখন than না বসে to বসে।

যেমন: a ewe, a European, a uniform etc.

উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নে সঠিক উত্তর- for. 

• ব্যাপক সময় অর্থাৎ period of time- এর পূর্বে for বসে।  
Example: He has been working here for three years.
বাক্যে three years, period of time প্রকাশ করায় এর পূর্বে for বসেছে।

- প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নে Bright হচ্ছে Adjective.

• Bright (adjective)
English meaning: intelligent and quick to learn.
Bangla meaning: বুদ্ধিমান।
Example of Sentence:
They were bright children, always asking questions.
Sameer was a bright student.

- প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নে Attendance হচ্ছে noun.

• Attendance (noun)
English meaning: being present.
Bangla meaning: উপস্থিতি।
Example: The large attendance at the meeting showed his popularity.

• প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নের সঠিক উত্তর হচ্ছে to.
- credence to অর্থ হচ্ছে বিশ্বাস।
Example of Sentence:I do not give much credence to his report.
Bengali Meaning: আমি তার প্রতিবেদনের উপর খুব একটা বিশ্বাস করি না।

• Credence to:
English meaning: The belief that something is true
Bangla meaning: বিশ্বাস।
Example of Sentence:
I'm not prepared to give credence to anonymous complaints.
I do not give much credence to her report.

- প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নের সঠিক উত্তর হচ্ছে knew it.

• As if/ as though যেন অর্থ প্রকাশ করে।
- as if/ as though এর প্রথম অংশ present indefinite হলে পরের অংশ past indefinite হবে।
- এছাড়া প্রথম অংশে past tense হলে পরের অংশে past perfect tense হবে।
Example:
He tells the matter as if he knew it.

Shortly এর noun form হলো- shortness এবং shortener.

Shortly (adverb)
English meaning: soon
Bangla meaning: শীঘ্রই; কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যে; অল্প।
Example: We will shortly be arriving in King's Cross Station.

আবার,
Short হচ্ছে Adverb, Adjective, Verb, Noun
Shortish হচ্ছে Adjective.
Shorten হচ্ছে Verb.

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নে সঠিক উত্তর হচ্ছে while.
 
• While দ্বারা দুইটি বাক্যাংশ যুক্ত হলে:
- While এর পূর্বে অংশ টি past indefinite এ হলে এর পরের অংশে past continuous tense হয়। 
- সুতরাং নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর হবে- I started for Dhaka while he was reading a novel.

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের correct passive form হচ্ছে Football has been played by us.

• উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নটি Present perfect tense.
Present perfect tense যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম -
Object এর subject হবে + number ও person অনুসারে have been/ has been বসবে + verb এর past participle form হবে + by + subject এর object বসবে।
Example:
Active: We have played football.
Passive: Football has been played by us.

- প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নের সঠিক উত্তর হচ্ছে- will catch.

• If যুক্ত clause টি যদি present indefinite tense হয় অপরটি future indefinite tense হয়।
Structure:
If+ present indefinite+ future indefinite.
If+ past Indefinite + past conditional (subject+would/might/could+ মূল verb এর present form)
Example of Sentence:
If you run in the rain, you will catch cold.
If he came, I would go.

- 'Might is right' এর অর্থ হচ্ছে জোর যার মুল্লুক তার।

অন্য অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে-
• Many a little makes a mickle.
দশের লাঠি একের বোঝা।

• Many drops make a shower.
বিন্দু বিন্দু জলে সিন্ধু হয়।

• Misfortune never comes alone.

• Simple sentence এ যদি In spite of/ despite থাকে তাহলে complex sentence এ though/although বসে।
- though/although + subject + person ও number অনুসারে verb + 2nd clause (অপরিবর্তিত থাকে)।
Example:
Simple: In spite of being a good student, he could not do well on the exam.
Complex: Although he is a good student, he could not do well on the exam.

Simple: Despite being sick, Robin went to school.
Complex: Though Robin was sick, he went to school.

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের সঠিক উত্তর হচ্ছে out.
Make out অর্থ হচ্ছে বুঝতে পারা।
Example of Sentence: I cannot make out what you say.

এছাড়াও,

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের Correct Compound Sentence হচ্ছে Study hard or you will fail.

• lest যুক্ত Complex sentence এ যদি person এর পরে 'should' থাকে তাহলে compound sentence এ conjunction or/otherwise ব্যবহার করে পৃথক clause গুলোকে যুক্ত করা হয় এবং দ্বিতীয় clause এ future tense হয় ।
Example:
Complex: Study hard lest you should fail.
Compound: Study hard or you will fail.

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের Passive Voice হচ্ছে We are taught grammar by him.

• Present simple tense কে Active থেকে Passive Voice করার নিয়ম- 
Structure: Active voice এর object হবে Subject + subject অনুসারে (is /am /are) বসবে + verb in past participle form+ Others.

Example:
Active: He teaches us grammar.
Passive: We are taught grammar by him.

• A, E, I, O, U এই পাঁচটি Vowel এর পূর্বে an বসে। 
তবে প্রদত্ত বাক্যটিতে Article হিসেবে 'an' বসবে F.C.P.S শব্দের 'F' Consonant হওয়া সত্ত্বেও।
- 'F' উচ্চারণ করতে গেলে 'a' উচ্চারণ প্রথমে আসে, যা একটি Vowel. 
- অতএব সঠিক বাক্যটি হবে, - His sister is an F.C.P.S.

• সংক্ষিপ্ত রূপ অর্থাৎ abbreviation এর প্রথম অক্ষর vowel এর মত উচ্চারিত হলে তার পূর্বে an বসে।
আবার, abbreviation এর প্রথম অক্ষর consonant এর মত উচ্চারিত হলে তার পূর্বে a বসে।
যেমন- an M.B.B.S, an F.C.P.S, an M.A, a B.A, a B.SC.

Bangla Meaning: ভ্রাতুষ্পুত্র বা ভাগিনেয়।

• Had better এর পরে verb এর base form বসে।
• Subject + had better/would better/had rather + verb এর base form.
Example of Sentence:
• Jashim had better change his subject if he plans to be admitted to a good university.
• You had better go there.

• প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নের সঠিক উত্তর নয়- One of my friends are a lawyer.
Structure: one of + plural noun + singular verb.
-  তাই verb are এর স্থলে is হবে।
Correct Sentence: One of my friends is a lawyer.

• এছাড়া নিয়ম অনুসারে:
- কোনো বাক্যে যদি always, regularly, sometimes, often, generally, daily, everyday, occasionally, usually, normally ইত্যাদি থাকে আর তা যদি হয় without any mention of time তাহলে verb হবে present indefinite.
Example:
My father reads the Daily Star every morning.
He always speaks in the class.
She takes fast food daily.

- Mesmeric (adjective) অর্থ হচ্ছে - সম্মোহনকর।

Other Forms: 
Mesmerize (verb) - সম্মোহিত করা।

• Zeal without knowledge is a runaway horse এর অর্থ হচ্ছে জ্ঞানহীন উৎসাহ বা আগ্রহ লাগামছেঁড়া ঘোড়ার মত।

• Not only....But also এর ব্যবহার:
- Not only যদি subject এর আগে বসে তাহলে But also-ও subject এর আগে বসে।
- আবার Not only যদি object এর আগে বসে তাহলে But also-ও object এর আগে বসে।
• Structure: 
• Subject + verb + not only + noun/adjective/adverb + but also +  noun/adjective/adverb. Or, 
• Subject + not only + verb + but also + verb.
Example:
Robert is not only talented but also handsome.
He writes not only correctly but also neatly.
Beth plays not only the guitar but also the violin.

• দুটি সমজাতীয় বিষয়কে যুক্ত করতে and ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নে সমজাতীয় বিষয়কে and দ্বারা যুক্ত করা হয়েছে।
Example of Sentence:
Two and two make four.
Do it slowly and carefully.
He is honest and leads a very simple life.

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের সঠিক passive voice হচ্ছে The police will be informed by them.

• Future indefinite tense কে Active থেকে Passive করার নিয়ম-
- Object হবে subject  + will + be + verb এর past participle form + by + subject এর object.

Example:
Active: They will inform the police. 
Passive: The police will be informed by them.

- প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নের Negative sentence হচ্ছে None but the science students can apply for the post.

• Only বা alone এর পরিবর্তে উত্তর বাক্যের শুরুতে None but বসে।
- এছাড়া আর কোন পরিবর্তন হয়না।
Example:
Affirmative: Only the science students can apply for the post.
Negative: None but the science students can apply for the post.

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের সঠিক passive voice হচ্ছে Cricket was being played by the boys.

• Past continuous tense যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-
- Object এর subject + Was being/Were being + verb এর past participle form + by + subject এর object.
Example:
Active: The boys were playing Cricket.
Passive: Cricket was being played by the boys.
