• Recondite (adjective):
English Meaning: Not known about by many people and difficult to understand.
Bangla Meaning: 
(১) (জ্ঞানের বিষয়াদি) সৃষ্টি ছাড়া, দুর্বোধ্য, নিগূঢ়। 
(২) (গ্রন্থকর্তা) নিগূঢ় বা সৃষ্টিছাড়া জ্ঞানের অধিকারী।

Synonyms: Complex (জটিল), Abstruse (নিগূঢ়), Complicated (দুর্বোধ্য), Hermetic (সম্পুর্নভাবে রুদ্ধ), Profound (গভীর)।
Antonyms: Straightforward (সহজবোধ্য), Simple (সাদামাটা), Familiar (চেনাজানা), Obvious (সুস্পষ্ট), Shallow (অগভীর; গাধ; চেটালো)।

Other Forms: 
- Reconditely (adverb) গভীরভাবে। 
- Reconditeness (noun)।

• Gerundial Phrase:
- Verb+ing + Extension যদি Noun (Subject/ Object) এর কাজ করে তবে তাকে Gerundial Phrase বলে।
-  Verb+ing – noun এর কাজ করলে সেটা Gerund হয়।
- আর Gerund এর সাথে Object বা Modifier থাকলে Gerundial Phrase হয়।

যেমন:

• Phrasal Verb:

• অন্যদিকে,
• Verb Phrase:
- যে phrase - verb এর কাজ করে সেটি Verb Phrase.
-A verb phrase consists of a main verb alone, or a main verb plus any modal and/or auxiliary verbs.
- The main verb always comes last in the verb phrase

• Adverbial Phrase:
- যে phrase বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয় adverb এর মত কাজ করে তাকে Adverbial Phrase বলে ৷
- সাধারণত বাক্যকে কখন ( when), কোথায় ( where), কেন( why) ও কিভাবে (how) দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর হিসেবে যে phrase পাওয়া যায় সেটি Advrbial phrase.

• Prepositional Phrase:
- Prepositional Phrase - Preposition দিয়ে শুরু হয়, কিন্তু Adjective Phrase বা Adverb Phrase এর মতো কাজ করে। যেমন -
- A man of high intellect often feels lonely. (Prepositional Phrase/ Adjective Phrase)
- He went there with a jolly mind. (Prepositional Phrase/ Adverb Phrase)

• You can have a dog as long as you promise to take care of it. Here 'as long as' is a - Conjunctional phrase.

- এই বাক্যে 'as long as' দুইটি Sentence 'You can have a dog' ও 'you promise to take care of it' এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপনের জন্য Conjunction ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। 
- তাই এটি Conjunctional phrase.

• Conjunctional phrase:
- A conjunctional phrase conducts the function of the conjunction.
- যখন কোন phrase বা শব্দ সমষ্টি একটি বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে Conjunction এর কাজ করে তখন তাকে Conjunctional phrase বলে।
- Parts of Speech এর যে Word গুলো দুই বা ততোধিক word, phrase, clause বা sentence কে যুক্ত করে তাকে Conjunction বলে। 
- দুইটি Sentence এর মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপনের জন্য Conjunction ব্যবহৃত হয়।
-  as much as, as long as, as soon as, as well as, along with, together with, either-or, neither-nor, not only- but also ইত্যাদি Conjunctional phrase.

• প্রদত্ত বাক্যে 'as long as' Conjunction এর কাজ করেছে বিধায় এটি Conjunctional phrase হয়েছে।

• A number of এর পরে Noun ও Verb দুইটাই Plural হয়।
- কারণ a number of একটি Plural Determiner যার অর্থ হচ্ছে কিছু সংখ্যক।
- এবং এর পরের Noun টি Head-word হয় এবং সে অনুযায়ী Verb বসে।

যেমন - 
- A number of boys were flying kites.
- A number of problems prevail on his way to success.

• Along with, as well as, together with, including, addition to, accompanied by ইত্যাদি দ্বারা দুইটি subject যুক্ত হলে verb হবে প্রথম subject অনুযায়ী। 
- এখানে I এবং some of my friends subject দুটি along with দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়েছে।
- প্রথম subject I  বিধায় verb টি singular হবে। 

• Complete Sentence: I along with some of my friends was present.

• যদি দুটো subject Either ... or, Neither .... nor, Not only ..... but also দ্বারা যুক্ত থাকে, তাহলে শেষের subject অনুসারে verb বসে। 
- Subject দুটোর মধ্যে একটি Singular ও অন্যটি Plural হলে সাধারণত Singular টি আগে এবং plural টি পরে বসে।

যেমন -
- Neither Shahin nor Shafiq is qualified for the job.
- Either the manager or his assistants review the company's personnel needs.

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক বাক্য হবে - 
- Neither the trainer nor the players were available for the post-match interview.

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - on.
- Complete sentence: As the eldest sibling, the responsibility of setting a good example for my younger brothers has fallen on my shoulders.

• on/upon - অদৃশ্যভাবে কোনো কিছুর দায়িত্ব বা কোন কিছু উপরে এসে পড়া বোঝাতে on/upon ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• দুইটি জিনিসর মধ্যে তুলনা বুঝাতে between এবং 
- দুইয়ের অধিক বোঝাতে / তুলনা করতে among বসে।
- যেমন:
- Distribute these mangoes between Ahana and Lamisa.
- Bangladesh will win among 30 countries.

• স্বতন্ত্র কোনো জিনিসের মধ্যে একটি বেছে নেয়া বা তুলনা করা বোঝাতে অর্থাৎ, গ্রুপ হিসেবে না বোঝালে তখন between ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- অন্য ভাবে বলা যায়,
- Use between when referring to one-to-one relationships.
- Use among when referring to indistinct or nonspecific relationships.

• প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নে কিছু স্বতন্ত্র জিনিসে মধ্যে থেকে যেকোনো একটিকে বেছে নেয়া বোঝানো হয়েছে বিধায় শূন্যস্থানে between বসবে।
- complete sentence: Rony had to choose between a laptop, a tablet, a smartphone, and a smartwatch as a reward for her outstanding performance in the competition.

• সাধারণত ভগ্নাংশের ক্ষেত্রে প্রথমটি One এর বেশি হলে দ্বিতীয়টির সঙ্গে 's' যোগ হয় (যেমন- Two-thirds).
- কিন্তু প্রথমটি One হলে দ্বিতীয়টির সঙ্গে 's' যোগ হয় না  (যেমন- One-third)।
- আবার সব ধরনের ভগ্নাংশের পরে noun - singular হলে verb - singular এবং noun - plural হলে verb - plural হয়।

Inc: Two-third of the mango are rotten.
Cor: Two-thirds of the mango is rotten. (আমটির দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ পঁচা।)

Inc: One-thirds of the mangoes is rotten.
Cor: One-third of the mangoes are rotten. (আমগুলোর এক-তৃতীয়াংশ পঁচা)

Correct sentence: One-third of the students are interested in joining the school's drama club.

♦ They praised the beautiful girl. Here the underlined phrase is - Noun phrase.
- এখানে এটি Subject complement হিসেবে Noun phrase.
- Article + Adjective + noun হিসেবে Noun phrase.

• Noun phrases
- A noun phrase consists of a pronoun or noun and any associated modifiers, including adjectives, adjective phrases, adjective clauses and other nouns in the possessive case.
- অধিকাংশ সময়ই, Noun phrase  মূলত: একটি Noun বা Pronoun এর কাজ করে। 
- এছাড়া, অর্থ এবং বাক্যে অবস্থান অনুযায়ী Noun phrase বিভিন্ন ভূমিকা পালন করে ।
- যেমন: 
- Subject হিসেবে। 
- Object of a verb হিসেবে। 
- Object of a preposition হিসেবে। 
- Subject complement হিসেবে। 
- Object complement হিসেবে।

• Adjective phrase:
- যে phrase গুলো sentence - এ adjective এর মত কাজ করে, অর্থ্যাৎ Noun এর অবস্থা, দোষ-গুণ ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করে, সেই phrase গুলোকে Adjective Phrase বলে।
