• Adjective phrase:
- যে phrase গুলো sentence - এ adjective এর মত কাজ করে, অর্থ্যাৎ Noun এর অবস্থা, দোষ-গুণ ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করে, সেই phrase গুলোকে Adjective Phrase বলে।
-  Noun এর পর যদি কোন clause/Phrase বসে তাহলে সেটি Adjective clause/Phrase হবে।

• Gerundial Phrase:
- Verb+ing + Extension যদি Noun (Subject/ Object) এর কাজ করে তবে তাকে Gerundial Phrase বলে।

- আর Gerund এর সাথে Object বা Modifier থাকলে Gerundial Phrase হয়।
